Nice bike Chuck 👍 I restored a 70 XLCH same color original paint! Being that the bike was a early 70 with a Sept 69 production date. So what wasn't finished inventory on 69 models rolled into 1970 bike's until the next new year. The buddy seat was stamped Sept 08-69. I'm currently finishing up a restoration on my 71 FLH in HiFi green. I like the CV carb tip!! with the cable. I'm still running a Bendx carb . VTwin makes a nice conversion backing plate for the CV carb so you can use the original air filter and cover.
Can you elaborate a bit more on the throttle cable in line adjustment? I have a 67 and I'm trying to use the internal throttle cable bit it pushes the cable from the original tillotson carb that has been replaced lime you did the CV. Is it able to pull the cable instead of push? Thanks

Love the bike. Are the mufflers drilled out sounds louder than stock. I love the sound volume.
