Do not I repeat do not patch layups/floaters… high lay up eating + great timing needs to matter because that will help with more diverse builds and different ways to attack instead of just shooting 3s & dunking…

We have to stop being so quick to see if something needs to be patched especially when we’re basing that idea off of a community day build I don’t care what difficulty they said the game was on. The sliders were set up so that all types of wild things could happen so that country could be made. They do it every year and every year if you go off of what happened at community day when you’re making your build or trying to figure out how you’re going to play the game, your first build is always going to be less impactful as your second once you’ve had your hands on the game for a bit

All I’m saying is that we need to stop calling for things to patch see how it plays out utilizes what they’re given

Ngl bro I don’t want what 23 should have been I want a good game and all around 23 wasn’t it dribbling was trash builder awful 3 meta builds all fades making good players look dumb cuz you shooting an early for no reason AWFUL rewards and I had a 76w% w 900 something games played I had 68w% on 22 with over 4K games played 22 was so inconsistent but it was at least fun 23 was inconsistent and not fun to dribble in
If everyone could pick their playerbuild in real life we'd all pick the same mfing thing why do you expect 2k to be any different? This complaint "everyone makes the same build" yeah bro thats how you create a skills gap instead of making the game some convoluted rock paper scissors where lineup A beats lineup B, lineup B beats lineup C, and lineup C beats lineup A.

Anyone have an ideal strength range for a lock SF? That’s the one area I’m not too sure yet. I don’t wanna add too much and waste builder potential but also don’t wanna add too little and get bodied
You could go around 70 and get those bronze badges(immovable force/bulldozer) or if you’re wanting to be a little bigger around 85 will give you the silver tier for those badges , its a good advantage against anyone with no strength
So if i have a squad of like 3 or 4 and go to the rec will I only play squads of 5 or will it match me against 3 or 4?

Jump shots are NOT different. Same shot speed regardless of shot distance… and variable shot timing was toned down and there’s a short variable timing stat in ur jumpshot
The nba2k devs have already stopped working on 2k24 and are focusing on 2k25. we've been here before y'all, don't believe their future promises. There will be a patch/nerf after month 1, calling it now.

I think if they gave us a little more points to use/spare on the builder instead of being so strict then this game would be goated. Instead of us being role players or HOF players like in 2k23, let us be in between All-stars and superstars.

@@kunosho1315 i understand and i agree but in my opinion i feel like if they don’t make it to where it’s easier to create your own shot for shooters that can dribble, which consists of either adding a watered down quick stop, or turn up the game speed then the slashing and defending meta is going to die fast. Shooting attributes costs the most so in my opinion if they didn’t touch the game speed or animations, being maybe 5% more forgiving in the builder will not only help builds be happy in their role but it wouldn’t be enough to make a Demi.

If anyone watched @BADGEPLUG at all in 23 you would know one of the worst gameplay mechanics is the different jump shot timings DOES STEPH CURRY SHOOT AT A DIFFERENT SPEED AND FORM BASED ON THE DEFENSE NOOOOOOOOOO I get if your out of stam slow it down A LITTLE don’t make me fucking airball against a bot cuz I wanted to dribble more than I should have and I have to reacts to the jump shot that was A FULL HALF SECOND FASTER than my usual jump shot forces players to make meta builds so they are slow as fuck and also forces players to use meta jump shots so they 3 different releases and not 10
