My takeaways from this episode are - 1) There will always be the innate need to relate in person & no amount of advanced technology can replace that. 2) There's a lot of pressure to keep up with the online identity you are projecting & displaying. 3) Good way to reflect on a conflict is to ask what do you want in the first place. 4) Good ways to build trust would be to talk about why it's missing. 5) If someone has to give you a memo of how to relate with them that says so much about how they don't have one for themselves internalized. 6) Asking for space or giving space becomes an issue as an adult if not given in childhood. 7) Intentions are more important in a relationship than just loving or committing. 8) Intentions > Expectations - Priority in a relationship. 9) The need to analyze is the the need to connect. 10) A relationship would never be fully functional if both sides are not communicating about less present moments. 11) Authenticity - Try to find who the person is rather than who you want them to be. My favorite quotes from Esther Perel - “The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.” & “It takes two people to create a pattern, but only one to change it.” Thank you so much for this episode.
I don't think pandemic did that, but the overwhelming enhancement in tech did that, almost everything you need is supported by tech, tech is runing us but it's ones own choice.we are simultaneously depending on tech
"people cheated it's alot more about how they see themselves rather how they see other person" I didn't understand this, please someone explain me this!?!?
Cheating is often driven by a persons own insecurities and internal mental conflicts… what they as individuals need or see lacking that they need to add into their lives..
bhai.... please please don't speak a lot, your questions should be short and clear. Dont try to cover many aspects in your questions coz it is just making it more confusing.
