The truth of it is that those folks were infantile and immature and incredibly self-centred pricks. Some of them became very successful, some of them (Albert) dwindle in obscurity, some of them literally became murderers (Alig). Nelson was a special man to navigate those assholes.
@@daisybluegroff Very true !!! I was 30 in 1983 and had a "real job", acted with responsibility and professionalism. I would have considered these people "degenerate freaks". It boggles by mind that some of these people became wealthy and famous. I wish I could go back in time and be a true, loving friend to Nelson.
👍Terrific. Amazing how he knew all of these people who became famous. Olí wonder if they knew they were on the rise. 🤔 I wish Nelson was alive to see how things unfolded. RIP Nelson. 😔💞
🤔I heard that Dick, the friend of Nelson who had been uploading these videos, recently 😔passed away. I wonder what will happen to the rest of Nelson’s work & what will happen to this YT channel. 🤔

This is when America was much better messed up days. Member that annoying machine that would repeat over and over give me a quarter ill tell you your fortune. I member 🫐. Maybe that was just all over chicago as a kid. I remember cigarette machines bowling Alleys and breakfast diners with lots of good affordable food and hot dog stands all over and less scum who must have had hearing problems because they would put big loud radios to there head walking around with ripped jeans and shoes not tied. Ive seen way better messed up days.
if only musto had gone, and nelson had lived, then justice would have been happi jus when u think he cant look any worse, he does. who is the singing lady cow??
Bunch of phonies. A scene built on look at me and "I'm invited too.." opposed to real people getting down and having fun. Boring, , I know I Had more real and fun 88 than these people. Nelson was pretty cool but the scene he orbited was vacuous.
People actually gave a shit when I was a kid. Especially these people celebrating birthdays and shit they must hate this new generation like everyone. I'm not gay and none of there shenanigans would work with me. I just would like the drugs and straight chicks. I'd rather be alone then put up with people's crap today. These were the older people and Metallica shirts at bowling alleys different people that looked weird on clark and belmont chicago coming soon years later since im not in New York and this looks like the beginning of the club kids who over do things like Michael Alig at his lowest cutting up drug dealers in bathtubs and James still had his rich Flintstones insanity jacket who writes movies about his crazy friends that wack people and chop them up in bathtubs. Nelson seemed nice but I judge nobody.
Nelson should be around these day's...the world need's more people like him in it.....
His comments at the start about nukes, the Trumps, Russia, etc. were one of those where I really would have loved to hear what he'd say today.
I felt bad for Nelson when he said no one waits for him but he waits for everybody 😔
Love you Nelson
He was such a sweet soul 🙏🙏🙏

I always get so exited for a new Nelson upload!

I love it! We may be nuked @any minute but.... what's for dinner! Rip NS
Very cool Bob O'Brien from Fox 5 News was there. He was an awesome news anchor during the 1980's for Fox 5 NY. Eddie Fisher too.
How funny...as soon as nelson was talking about the cop cars on the street, the classical music playing blended in with the conversation....lol
Cold War hours...with Nelson!
As soon as I saw her pull out the paper I knew what was coming. One of most hilarious gilbert and sullivan pieces.
Is Sukhreet Gabel still alive...
That carpet really is amazing.

epic performance

Oh no really? Is that why there's been no new uploads? Damn! I hope someone picks up the torch.
Wish he had dumped them in all at once
@@christinecollins6648 - Yes, me too 😭😫
I like that Nelson has a bit of an attitude at the beginning
Musto could sing
My God, Eddie Fisher was there! Have I died and gone to heaven via You Tube????
Michael could really sing.
Gorbachev The Reagan’s and the Trump’s sounds like quite a movie

WHO POSTS THESE ?
Dick Nelson's best friend since childhood and boyfriend. But sadly he passed a few weeks ago. So tragic.
@@SusieSynth who do u think gonna upload his other videos now? Huhu
Nelson!!!!
I wondered if their line about 6 minutes in was supposed to be about Nelson...
Michael Musto and friends played to Nelson's camera to the point of asking if he got that part on camera and watched the videos with him.
Yeah I was about to say I think the list she was reading was throwing shade on all the party guests lol
Who is she? I can’t remember her name but she was on the cover of every newspaper in NYC for about 5 minutes.

Is this from the past or ...
Does anyone know is Michael still living?
Yes he is. 😊
I thought Michael Jackson when I read that title
Nite line is one of the best Michael's unreleased songs.
Awful Marilyn Monroe impression but amazing video!

Musto was always a wannabee. He was never liked by this crowd. .
How do you possibly know that for sure?
@@jrd3523 I'll just say - I was there. I still know some of the club kids.
@@jtrain5615 So was I...
@@jrd3523 Not surprised. Probably goes for most people watching these old vids. those were great times in NYC.
@@jtrain5615 My point was that Musto was indeed liked by some of this crowd. Nelson liked him.

She tries so hard for attention singing but has zero range unfortunately.
