To answer your question, not every single girl or boy group has a rapper. But it is very common. Like in BTS the main rappers are RM (formerly Rap Monster), Suga and J-Hope. The other vocalists and dancers are V, Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin. BlackPink has Jennie and Lisa for the rappers, and Ji-Soo and Rose (Rose-ay). The one you said is your favorite in BlackPink, her name is Jennie. She is my favorite, or bias, as well. Some of my favorite groups: BTS, Exo, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE (pronounced G-Idle), Momoland, Got7, Ailee (female power vocalist), Sunmi (just check her out. All her songs are great but Siren just came out), Gugudan (they are a newer girl group), Bolbbalgan (I hope I am spelling it right- I think they are newer, too). Akdong Musician, and many others. I would recommend Hyolyn's Dally. The dancing and the beat are so lit!

To become kpop star they train really hard as a trainee in some company waiting for their debut. So they need to be good looking, dance well, sing or rap well to debut in a group. And yes, all the music videos are amazing and most of the time they need to act.

EXO is well known as one of the top vocal group and also one of the top group in K-pop. They have 9 members but one of them is not promoting with the group right now because of a few reasons. They have 3 main vocal (but all of them can sing), 3 main dancers, 2 main rappers. They are not only focusing on singing as a group, they also has their own solo career as a solo singer, actor, musical actor and a model. One of them also composed his own solo album. 3 of them is a musical actor and all of them have been acting in a drama or movie. EXO is a multitalented group.
All of their song is a BOP. Unfortunately, EXO is only doing a promotion in Korea China and Japan (mainly focusing in Asia) but they also have a lot of fan around the world and doing their concert in a few countries outside Asia.

Sorry if I’m commenting a lot in your comment section but I just want to explain the question that you asked in the video about how can all of good looking and talented people can be in one group?.
First of all, all of them had to go through auditions and training systems. Most of them have been trained for almost 2-3 years or more before the company choose a few talented trainee in their company and formed a group. Visual is a main thing for certain company but talent is also important.
They have singing, acting and language classes during their training time(depend on the company). It needs a lot of effort just to join a group. The bigger the company in the industry (K-pop), the higher the difficulty for them to debut (a lot of trainees aka talented people).
Sometimes, groups have 2-3 rappers.

yeees!! all MVs are out of this world! It's even to the point where they link several MVs together to tell longer, short-film style, stories. BTS is particualrly good at this but lots of groups do it. It makes it so that the more of these gorgeous videos you watch the more you can glean from the symbolism and the more they make sense...and makes you want to watch more.
Also A LOT of focus in put on live performances and the dance aspect. catchy, unique, and well executed choreographies are almost as important as the songs themselves. Sometimes people in Kpop do use a lot more lip-sync than western artists during live perfromances, but I don't really see why that bothers people because they're still performing these amazing dances (unlike western artists who lip-sync and are aren't even doing anything) and still the vast majority of the time they ARE singing live and singing and dancing at the same time is just so impressive.
Overall kpop is a super visual art form which is why it's so easy for international fans to fall in love with it. you don't have to understand everything to enjoy it. Also they have incredible song producers so it pretty much every beat will sound great. and Kpop actually covers so many genres you just have to find the groups that make the kinds of sounds you like

And if you ever want to know more about BTS to know their names and stuff, there are videos called 'BTS Introduction' on a channel called 'Squishy Min Yoongi.' The order you should watch them in goes: Jungkook, V, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, Suga, and Jin (its youngest to oldest). Just thought that might help you if you wanted to know more about them!

Yes kpop groups have at least one member that raps depending on the size of the group. But "idol rappers" in the kpop industry aren't seen as REAL rappers in Korea. As long as they can sound good at rapping and have interest in it, then they can join the group. If you ask them to freestyle on a random beat and come up with bars/sensible lyrics, then that will be a bit tricky for them. Korean rappers don't see idol rappers as real rappers too. However, that WAS the case. People are starting to slowly change their perspective on that issue... For example, two out of the three rappers in BTS were underground rappers before joining BTS/kpop industry. Remember: BTS started as a group with a hiphop focus...A lot of underground rappers were like to BTS "How is your music/album (2013) associated with hiphop? You guys put on makeup for stage performances... It's like being a girl." Then directly to two of the rappers in BTS who used to be from the underground rapping scene- "What is it that you people were on the same path as us, but you couldn't over that temptation."
I personally think BTS has one of the best rapline compared to other kpop groups. They're not only rappers, but they're also are known producers. They all have their own mixtape (which they mostly produced on their own) and have individual style of rapping, personal message/lyrics, and vibe. I don't think other kpop rappers have their stuff out, maybe a song or two.
