I think i could be considered a 911 expert as I have owned four of them...and this car should go very quickly. An authentic RUF slant nose conversion is very rare and the upgrade to a 3.2 engine is also a big plus. Porsches maintain their value as long as upgrades are Porsche and professionally done. A Great price!
LoL It has been for sale for months I think it has been like 3-4 months. And they have lowered the price 2 or 3 times. Anyone can do this conversion. I think majority of Aircooled 911 fans don’t like the slant nose look or the “gills” on the rear fenders and the boxed skirts.
The aircooled 911 bubble is also deflating. At this price you can get a Gen 5 viper. With like 5 times the horsepower modern amenities and it is just as collectible. Most of which have low miles. I am assuming that’s why aircooled 911s priced beyond $80,000 aren’t really moving anymore.
im a diehard porsche lover . i take car and prep my brothers 17k 993 turbo guards and black. its never not got 1st place in the 5 or so pca events here in MD. as much as i love porsche i love RUF twice as much. my all time favorite cars since b4 the yellow bird in 1985 i saw my 1st a scr in green in R&T mag and ive been a fanatic since. ive got RUF everything so of course when i saw this i wasnt sure what all it has. its none the less a bueatiful car. the g body 3.2 and the 5 spd is fine of course we all want turbo motors but this would be some to buy and spend the money to put in a built turbo motor. the looks are so 80's miami vice and its begging to get a crazy motor. spending top dollar to have one of the top shops(john bray, rothsport , patrick or protomotive build a 500+ hp motor is the way to go. a buyer should buy this to keep for a long time and enjoy it like they were made to do. dont ever drive with resale on your mind because its better to run this thing to its end. i almost shit when you opened the door and i saw those cse recaro's, my favorite seats ever. it better have a blaupunkt stereo in it. this car needs to be the center of a car guys family. going to porsche shows with the little ones, teach them how to maintain it and eventually pass it on to a child.porsches are best bought when the previous owner spent all ton of money that he didnt get back but he knew it wasnt. awesome car!! cheers
