Great interview. Mad respect for Cam for even doing this interview and being authentic. He doesn't have to like BYU and like Spencer said, that's ok! That's how it should be. I'm glad he's healthy and doing well.

Poor Cam. He couldn't completely hide the pain he was suffering in having to act decently toward representatives of BYU. Whit is much more practiced at showing a decent side in BYUtv interviews despite his obvious disdain toward the school when anyone else asks him about it. 🤣

I really like Cam Rising.... WHY? Because he UNDERSTANDS what the word 'RIVALRY' actually means. Something Kalani and some of our Coaching Staff don't really have nor do they understand. I grow tired of Kalani's 'kind words' of support for Utah and Witt. You know.... Half the time I think Kalani wears Red Fruit of the Looms when you hear him speak about Utah. You know... Coach Witt's interview made me a bit nauseous as you can tell he hides his disdain for BYU pretty well. He understands what 'Chalk Board Material' is and the motivation it can give a Rivalry team. I stated a couple weeks ago that IF BYU goes 6-6 that there needs to be changes in the Coaching staff. That the only way 6-6 might be okay is if BYU beats Utah. BYU's carrying over its 'Independent' style thinking while being in the BIG12 is detrimental to BYU program, it's Culture of Competition and its Fan Base. What I have noticed? Utah has NEVER helped BYU out in any situation. Yet BYU continually goes to bat for Utah... Utah's membership in the BIG12 is proof of that statement. It's like having a little drug addict brother who always takes and never gives back... Frankly? After the absolute Arrogance and conceit the BIG12 has seen from Utah this last year? I hope that every B12 team saves their best games for Utah. There is all this speculation that Utah will be moving on to the BIG10. It'd be nice to not only retire Witt this year by BEATING the Running Pukes, but tanking their biggest Dream of BIG10 Membership by having the whole Conference Drub them and ruin their fictious delusions of being a perennial powerhouse go up in Rice Eccles Vaped Smoke??? Now THAT would be fun to watch. Can you imagine the Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth from the Great & Spacious Building up North? BUAHAHAHA....

@@Number4lead i hope your Oline is as good as Witt says it is. Cams a great QB but he's also a paper dragon. No blood pressure issues here though Bro. Just a good sense of rivalry. I know its been a tough three years for you. Your tear ducts have run dry and all you got are dry heaves left. We'll see if Utah is able to play without any chip on their shoulder. Its easy to act like you got a chip. But in reality? There is no chip when youre picked to win the conference.
So if you have a good sense of the rivalry, then you must hate the fact that an entire generation of would be coug fans are now sqarely UTAH fans, right? I mean you'll always have your legacy coug fan families, but those transplants to Utah, or those indifferent across the nation, are def in the camp of the UTES now. The average 12 year old coug fan in Utah has only seen BYU football win 1 time against their bitter rival. The ave 20 year old has only ever seen 4 dubs. Ouch, That's gotta sting! ;) But all is not lost, you'll MAYBE go 6-6 again, but at least now you're playing teams your fans have likely heard of before. In all reality, you'll be competitive again in a few more years with more big12 recruits. Loosing Kalani would be an epic mistake - even I know that.

Sorry, but the Utes were beat by an 8-5 Northwestern in their last game, have to make it through 5 BIG 12 teams this year BEFORE they even meet BYU, and Cam has to some how stay healthy. A lot can happen between now and November.
1- Every year is different. It doesn’t matter where you ended the previous as rosters change. The team that played last year is not the same as this year. 2- The fact that Utah had a horrible year and yet is ranked so highly in the preseason is a representation of the program. 3- I wish Kalani and his staff all the best. Love that guy and I will never say anything bad about him. #GoUtes

The Utah team that played northwestern was on number 3-4 across basically the whole team. That was not the same team that is gonna destroy BYU this year. See you in SLC in November. Get ready for the L ;)
