We do shotcrete swimming and I use just water for anything less then 100-150ft of hose. I spray for about 10 seconds worth of water per hose then hook up and pump start pumping. We use slick pack on our longer pumps but normally access is right next to the pool so we only need one 2 in 50ft hose and a 2 1/2 hose off of the pump

I work in a rock quarry and we are going to supply a concrete plant with all crushed materials ( from sand to gravels) here in north east France, in the Vosges mountains. I would know wich mix is better for your trailer pump: rolled materials or crushed materials? Stay safe.
@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping That's what I thought. Here in Nigeria, you’d be hard pressed to find a concrete pump operator that uses chemical primer. We all use water. All you need is a lil lubrication on the pipes and you’re good to go.
I used 3 one liter Bottles of Vegetable cooking Oil one Saturday morning no place open to get a Bag of Cement but the Home owner had 3 Bottles of Vegetable cooking Oil. It worked Perfectly fine. I might start Doing that too Prime here in DUBLIN because it's a lot cheaper than a Bag of Cement just have to make sure to catch the oil in a bucket and not let it into the pour area.

We all have different mix designs across the country. I use 2” and 2.5” but we have natural sand and usually get a 4000psi crushed 78 stone (1/2”). A lot of folks have Man Sand that’s almost impossible to pump through 2” hose. Lots of people do it but the slightest difference in one thing or another can mean pushing it 300’ through a 2” hose or plugging at the 50’ clamp.

So, why wouldn’t you prop the hose up 2-3 feet before first connection, open the connection and add 5 gallons H2O towards the pump?
Seems like I have had better results rolling the hose than just putting the water in and letting the mud push it.
Haven’t watched the good part so my comment is it’s going all the way!
💯
Yes
