Nice Video! Thank you for your brilliant Work! 😄 One Plus side I found by using Makita Tool Boxes is, that you can also sit on them at long Tournaments 😂 Have you looked at the Makita Screw Boxes? (Makita 191X80-2) I really like them for Bits, Smaller Minis and Mainly, because of the Variation Options, for Tournaments. By that I mean, that you can Fit all of your Playing Materials into one of them. Dice, Tape measure, Rulebooks, etc. Hope this is a nice little Info 😅😅😅 (Sry, I don't get many Chances to use my Carpenter's Knowledge for Hobby 🙈) Have a nice Day und Happy New Year🎉

Steve, this is a great idea. I used a similar method many moons ago when my son got into 40k. An old drill case, with foam, repurposed into a carry case for his Ultramarines. It now houses my Imperial Guard (not Astra Militarum) models.

I use a solid metal tool box, simple and already magnetic seeing as it’s made of steel.

Nice, I use bankers boxes with warmag self adhesive sheets personally. The smallest boxes are perfect for infantry and very small tanks, the medium option can carry wardogs and the large size can carry cerastus knights. This looks like a much sturdier solution.

Not bad. Has a good modern or sci-fi feel to it, too. And yeah, saying Makita of all brands is the best is a surefire way to get tool nerds mad at you!

What did you attach to the underneath of the magnet sheets? I tried using a warmag sheet in a box before and bumpy base of the box disrupted it slightly, so would love to get a smoother base next time!

Novel approach. I think I'd still prefer the RUB boxes as the most cost-effective solution. Ferrous sheets with magnetic bases will also have the strongest pull. I'm just evaluating some ferrous sheets and magnetic discs that Warmag sent me. Results so far are very good

Nothing beats egg cartons and tissue paper!11!1! But in all seriousness: there is no perfect solution out there. Too many variables. Square or round bases? Metal or plastic minis? Small skirmish bands or large battle armies? 10mm? 15mm? 28mm? Will the case be handled only by you? Will it go into the trunk of a car you're not driving? In a plane? Is your army done or is there much more to grow? Is it just for transportation or storage too? Too many things to consider.
