I learned to drive in my Dad's 57 Ford on an old curvy gravel road in Eastern Kentucky, it was black too but automatic trans. I loved that car and my Dad for letting me drive, I was 11yrs old at the time.

That was my first car in 1963. I paid $500 for it. Went into the service in '65 sold it to a friend, he wrecked it and it ended up at the fire department to practice the jaws of life. I cried for days.

There’s just something surreal yet majestic about a classic car driving along the road like they did back in the day, back when cars like this ruled the roads. It’s awesome to see that these metal artifacts of history are preserved and still run just like they did several decades ago.

the 57s looked really nice but they came out with the FE block in 1958, 352, 360, 390, 410, 427, 428. I have a 1964 high nickel FE block in my 73 Ford short 4X. My Dad bought a new 58 Fairlane first year 352. He took the hubcaps off and took it to the drag strip, lol. I was 4. He later picked up a 56 T Bird, a 66 Shelby GT 350 and a 72 Pantera (351 Cleveland mid engine). We like Fords. I remember the 69 LTD with the 429 would spin when it hit second gear in drive. I like the 57 Fairlanes. Nice looking car. I'm new to this channel, just wondering if you have filmed a 1963 Galaxy hardtop or convertible. If not it would be cool if you could cruise around in one. My dad had one back in the late 60's. It was white with red interior. Unfortunatly, he wrecked it coming home from work one night in 1969 and totaled it. He was broad sided by a truck and bent the frame. Luckily he escaped with a minor cut on his forehead. I have only a few memories of it as I was only 4 years old when it happened. Thanks!

The 1957 Ford Fairlane and Custom 300, in my opinion, are better than both the '55-57 T-Bird and the Tri-Five Chevys. I especially love them when it's got that very rare F-Code supercharger packed.

My mistake it was a 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan .You Drive” (1964, episode 134)
Cars do come alive in The Twilight Zone - when they have something to prove. Ollie Pope learns a lesson about concealing his crimes after he accidentally hits a paperboy with his 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan and hurries away without reporting it. Pope’s car starts acting on its own to get him to admit his guilt, becoming increasingly insistent that Pope shouldn’t hide the truth.
