Please do a video on the other phases too.
I just want to add that I look up to you a lot! It is clear that you have worked hard to get to where you are, and it looks like you have always been confident and true to yourself, that is very inspiring! It was bold of you to become part of a fashion world and then shift to a sustainable path and career during a time when only few people did, that takes a lot, I imagine. Keep up the good work. You inspire me all the time :)

Hahahaa, I remember lookbook and I had my little blogspot fashion blog and I had HUUUUGE pin-up era. Oooh and a colorfull tigts and clashing prints🫠 ooooh my, I’m glad it’s behind me😅 but I remeber the crossed leg pose, that one was mandatory for all of us 🤌🏻🙃

This video put a smile to my face. Reliving all these eras through your video even if it was a style I personally never wore.

Yes girl! I need more of these videos! amazing flashback to how great the internet was back when we had tumblr and myspace!
Really laughed at the JS myspace moment! - me, absolutely, 3000% blasting JS and BOTDF in my room with my diamond necklace and teased hair!

How cool, that through your passion for fashion you have so many pictures of your past self that you can see your style evolving! I think it is really interesting to watch and would definetly like a part two. :)
Also when the video started I thought that you look really beautiful in it. The jumper suits you well and together with the simple hair updo it looks really casual/"natural" which is a look and style I really enjoy. So I've been suprised when you said you've been up till 4 AM and have no make up on since it clearly wasn't obvious for me😂
And: Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a wonderful day :)

Still my fav. Piece is this brow sweater. I love the fact you have it for such a long time. I also take really good care of all my knit wear.

Yes! Yes! Part two please! This was extremely fun and relatable 😆 Reminded me of the Jeffree Star unicorn vest I overpaid for and thankfully lost back in 2009.

I think you look the best in the picture to the right. No make up, nice natrual hair, cosy swether. Not trying so much and still beautiful. I think you (and I) look better for every year that we age. As an example, no cream in the world has helped me with my acne as much as aging has.

Happy belated Birthday 😊 I wish I had photos of outfits that I felt great in. I have some but dresses were borrowed, 2 outfits shrunk and my mother gave the best pair of jeans I had to st vincent to paul. I had only left home a week! I still have clothes from my teen years. I'm a mix of punk, goth, hippie, grunge and boho. My mood changes a lot 😆 but i nearly always go back to floral and black is always safe.
I'm looking forward to seeing your emo phase or part 2 😊

I don't have that many photos because I never liked being photographed but I also really liked experimenting with my style! I still look to those times with a bit of nostalgia because now I don't feel as free to be as playful. I had an emo, goth, skater girl, artistic/bohemian, girly girl phases and many more. 😂 And because I didn't have that much money, I did it all while thrifting. One of my favorite "eras" was when I was wearing a jean skirt on top of jean trousers, and then the side of the jean leg was all pierced with safety pins. And of course there was a chain hanging from my spiky belt!!! 😅 I clearly remember getting a compliment from a 40-something lady on a street 😂 funny that it may be, all of that fun and play with style also inspired creativity and curiosity in other parts of my life. I was listening to all kinds of music, creating art, writing, reading so much etc. This year I am kind of trying to get back to that curious self. 🙂

Btw boho really did have a chokehold on us in 2012 😅 so many patterns and natural elements.

I love your old aesthetics and the evolution of your style. Yes! to another such video. I also used to squeeze into children's clothing as a skinny late-teen, because there's no VAT on children's clothing in the UK so it's cheaper and there was no minimum wage at that time, so my earnings didn't stretch to adult clothes (I spent it all on horse feed 😂 living the dream ❤)

    Hey,
So as you mentioned in the video the bindi is cultural appropriation. And I am glad you address this 😌 it doesn’t seem like you are aware that it is cultural appropriation for white people to have dreadlocks. But it is. I just wanted to let you know 😊

    • @Gittemary

@@josephineenglishcultural appropriation regarding locks is not about “owning a hairstyle”. it is about the systematic mistreatment of black people who are treated worse for hair styles they wear culturally when other races can wear them as fashion statements without repercussions (or even being celebrated). i encourage you to learn more on this topic outside of the internet.

    • @Gittemary
      @Gittemary  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

I have 700+ videos 💀 but have mentioned that, as well as many other aspects of similar topics in many previous Q&As, vlogs and old videos in general after I removed the locks
