Thanks for the video! Do you have to remove the neck to access the truss rod on the Indonesian model? It seems there's no access hole on the head stock, and I don't see the adjustment wheel where the neck meets the body either.
Hi - Thanks for watching. Yes, you are spot on. The only access to the truss rod is by taking the neck off on both guitars and the one on the X Series was completely jammed in. I think with patience and courage it might have released but the risk of damage to the finish was too significant.
That's the older version of the US Adrian Smith model... the newer ones (from about 2015-16 onwards) have the spoke wheel type truss rod nut, so you don't need to take the neck off.

Such a poor design. I sold my Charvel So-Cal from 2012 for that very reason.
Taking the neck off for a truss rod adjustment is a pain!

That’s good to know. Thanks for updating 🤘
$3,000 for a USA is ridiculous. Guitar prices are unbelievable these days. Chinese garbage is $2,000 now 🤬
Prices have risen so much in the last 5 years. Thousands for a guitar that would have been £1800 and across all the big manufactures.
