Redskull which smartphone do you prefer is the best as a all rounder phone samsung Galaxy s10 or Huawei p30 pro and how much more hours of usage do you get on huawei compared to Samsung.
I personally prefer the P30 Pro. You get 2 more hours SOT. At this point I would wait to see what the new Mate 30 Pro will offer. Supposed to be launched mid September
Flagship Speedtests are useless now a days because all phones are quick enough. Make a battery drain test instead. That's more practical and people wanna see it.
I've had and heard a lot of experiences of samsungs lasting way longer. Many people I know had a huawei and despite the high end looks, the hardware is just... cheaper. Most of them lasted a year-a year and a half and then started having tons of issues. Never had such an issue with a samsung. Huaweis may seem better at first glance but I'd rather have a phone that's gonna last me a few years as me and many people I know have already experienced.
I Don't think that p30 pro opens The Apps faster. A human can't Tap at The exact Same time and there are also Animations while unlock the phone und I didn't See Any Animations at Huawei p30 pro
And I also think the p30 pro was on performance mode, just look near the battery percentage it has that "speedometer" and i think that means it's on performance mode and idk if the s10 was set to performance mode....what do you think?
Screen looks way better on the s10. Overall. The s10 is better. Because when p30 won, it wasn't noticable, but when it was s10 it was very very noticable
no screen protector on mine... maybe my fingers are too dry...no clue... all phones with an actual physical scanner work perfect...but the in screen ones pretty bad
@Redskull : Is it your Video recorder or P30 pro's screen that was having some distracted pixels all over this video.. Samsung one looks fine .. so must be P30 Pro's screen .. It doesn't look crisper as other 1080p FHD+ screens .. specially visible when you are having dark blue background .. Any idea why is that fluctuations on P30's screen ?
I have the S10+ and the finger print scanner is hit and miss, sometimes it's quick, other times like you hunting to get it to turn on. Everything else, it's splitting hairs, remarkable devices.

Don't get me wrong, but Samsung has some awesome hardware, that and the fact that they (most likely) manufacture a "Lot" of parts for other phone manufacturers (Probably including Huawei 🤷🤷🤷). My biggest gripe is that I don't like paying for a "Name".... Doesn't matter if it's Samsung or iPhone or any other "Well Known" brand, so IMHO, I would choose anything other than a Name Brand purely because of the fact that you are more than likely paying a premium just for the name and not really the hardware..... And the likes of Samsung and Apple have taken full advantage of their "Fan Boys" this way. As I said, Samsung, at this point, are definitely the leader in hardware to a degree, but why pay more for something you can get for less with virtually no Real noticeable differences in speed???
Privacy. That's the main reason to choose Samsung or another brand. I don't like the idea of being spied on by the Chinese government. Huawei has a very questionable reputation. People are quick to say, "I have a Huawei phone and there's no sign anyone is spying on me." Of course there isn't. Chinese intelligence isn't stupid. They aren't going to make it obvious at all. They are collecting data in the background which makes it very hard to detect.

I am old enough to remember the dawn of smart phones and TBH both are brilliant and we are very lucky to be in an era of such performance and portability; a computer in your pocket. The P30p is just the faster phone but not enough to be a deal breaker.
Its Huwei P30 Pro all the way. Faster, Better camera its camera is like light years ahead from samsung. S10 doesnt even have a night mode in 2019?! . Charging time is only HALF of s10 plus charging time AND IT LASTS LONGER LOL! Why care about the screen quality? Its still OLED meaning it produces real blacks, and question, would you really even use your phone on max brightness everyday even in public? Cause thats where the difference is only seen. On normal usage, their screen arent that different and both are still OLED. Its easy for us to make excuses like " Its okay if the charging is slower on s10 it doesnt really matter" but in fact, BATTERY and charging time is one of the biggest factor. Imagine being in a rush but you need charge.. In 15 minutes youre already getting 35 Percent on huawei, and take note, this 35 percent LASTS longer than S10 Plus 35 percent, convenient as fuck.

My P30 pro is over 2yrs old now and problem free. Battery is still great with 83percent remaining 10hrs later.

Specially look at 4:51 to 4:54 in this video . Compare the screens on both devices..
you can only see that on the camera...has to do with the shutter speed...
