I have one that I started in my early 20's. I'm 43 now and my 9 year old wants to fly it with me. Thanks for the Video! Time to brush off the flying skills.
Dear Paul, size of prop depents of weight of plane and type of motor. It's hard to say w/o more information. We have als a FB group : Lazy Bee Mania far al tour questions ans shares. Regards, Benny
Hi Thank You for the reply i am so thankful. could i ask one more question ? what did you do in modifying the plane so i can do it to mine ? also do you think a E flite 450 brushless motor and a 25 esc would work? i need to find out what size prop, and battery if i use the e flite 450 motor and 25 esc. could you help me in choosing the right battery and propeller ? . and again Thank You. i plan on building it soon. you have been a big help.
I'm not sure what prop and what motor this is. I'm familiar, sorry. Yes this model is modified as far as I could build the BEE lighter. The wintips have more angle also. The angle is equal to the ground if the BEE is on his side,... check movie.
hi could you please tell me what size electric motor you are using, and esc, battery and propeller ? i have the plans that were for a gas version would like to make a electric version. any advice will be appreciated. Thankyou.
Hello, I'm running anAxi 2814/12 , Jeti adv. 40 and 3S 2200 fits perfect in the nose. Enjoy,... My best best model ever. This one is + 20 years allready !!
@@BennyWachtelaer Hi my first 40 size lazy bee had .15 size gas motor. i was thinking about a .15 size electric engine or maybe a . 20 size electric motor. what do you think ? i have the plans and instructions for when i do it. tx.
Andy Clancy made a real winner with this kit. It's a 2-speed aircraft - slow & stop!
I used to carry one in the truck with me on the road. OS .10 did a great job. I’d park and fly all day when I didn’t have a load.
stunning flying! someone that truly understands what the bee is for fun and slow flight

Perfect airplane for a perfectly cut grass field, thanks!
Just love the close-in flying and one wheel touch & goes, no ailerons needed.
No music please. Natural sounds better.

Terrific model and flying. I’m going to build one. How do get those perfect holes in the wing ribs?
Ducted fan jets are nice but THIS is the flying I love!
Lovely model, great flying. You obviously took the 'Red Ones go Faster' approach to this project ☺
Now we know why they call it the Lazy Bee.🙃
With Trexler wheels no longer available, from where did you get the foam wheels, please?
Hello Terry, I turned the wheels myself from 20mm light foam plates whit sticky side. Used for airconsitioners or so.
Пешком по небу, очень приятно
Oooooooooooooooooh ! ...
I'm just finishing up my Lazy Bee, and am wondering what size prop you used with that motor, and where did you get it?
