Honestamente veo a la versión de XSX mejor, incluso en ciertas partes se ve más detalle en texturas... Y ni qué decir de los reflejos, son infinitamente superiores en XSX, pero bueno, cuestión de decisiones y perspectivas. Muy bien las versiones ahora mismo

Horizon 4 blows this out of the water in graphics department not even close that's why this is a dissapointing effort on all consoles really as horizon is also native 4k 60fps with ultra PC settings and open world on series X
After playing about 35 to 40 percent of career there are some beautiful looking tracks! There are a couple of tracks that look just ok but its not bad and one thing that is cool about dirt 5 it has dynamic weather. Start the race and its sunny but you might finish in a massive rain storm with lightning very cool affect! Same with snow, sand storms, light showers etc... Every once in a while I see some pop in on a certain track but its not intrusive and not often. The races load really fast offline career mode but online seems slower than I would like. Online is pretty fun ! If you can get it on a good sale I would definitely pick it up! Playing on a SX
I can confirm some situations look worse than others but some of the effects and debris look really good and I think the style of the graphics is still cool it's just different from some of the others out.
Correct this time, but some games are 6k supersampled(Ori blind forest, the tourist) no the most graphics avaliable games but the 6k should be around that ultimate 3840p xD

Is it just me or is there hardly any difference between all of the different modes on the Series X & PS5? I'll just stick it on the 60FPS locked mode for the best overall experience 🤷♂️
Its not....... just different weather. Also they added the foliage even on SS. Things I kept telling for weeks..... no reason for not including it in the first place (1.00 version), becausr like in basically all other games (much older or new) it doesnt change the frame rate by much, in worst only 1 - 3 fps difference or no at all. Basically proved that either the developers rushed it or received the dev kits too late.

Image quality mode adds more effects but has more trouble sticking to 60fps. Resolution mode drops some effects but tries to lock to higher res and has more steady framerate. Framerate mode only appears if you TV supports 120hz. This mode lowers everything else to stick to 120

Nothing has been impressive so far except demons souls (my opinion). I probably would be even less impressed if I had played the older version but I never did.
Yes they added the foliage.......seeing in bunch of other old and new games only 1 - 3 fps difference in worst case scenario or no fps difference at all, so I kept telling its developers fault, they rushed the game or they received the dev kits too late for SS/SX. All I got was attacks and insults, from those dead brainwashed Sony fanboys and the funniest thing is, I never owned a damn Xbox console in my entire life. I was always a Sony supporter (and PC/Nintendo but thats another story). They just know nothing about tech, all they know is pointing fingers and trashtalk, how PS5 is miles ahead of SX etc...... also, a bit shame for Digital Foundry (I respect them) that they didnt explained those kids some things how something works or at least how it should work like this all Dirt 5 fiasco.

@@shakengandulf Both still maintain 2160px3840 in the visual mode. Both basically have their dips and both have their highs. Not that you will notice it anyway since the dynamic res goes somewhat beyond native 4K. At 4K you do not notice any pixels or jagged edges.
@@enderfrisk2059 3840p doesn't exist. The closest 16/9 resolution is 3843p, which is 6832 x 3843 pixels, almost 7K. The video should have shown 2160p, which is 4K UHD (actual max resolution of this game). No games runs in 7K on Series X and PS5.

Hence the conclusion that the author of the channel does not want to show that PS5 loses in this aspect. I don't trust you anymore
he does show it side by side and that section can be different every time because of the dynamic weather and day system, they are set in completely different conditions to be compared, obviously not a system or graphics issue, but if anything dev oversight

la versione ps5 usa tendenzialmente texture migliori, quindi le ombre quasi assenti sono sicuramente un bug, come nella 1.0 la versione series x sembrava un gioco ps2 e ora lo hanno sistemato

Per non parlare della vegetazione nella modalità a 120 che su Xbox viene semplicemente abbassata di risoluzione mentre su ps5 oltre a ciò viene anche tagliata in parte. Inoltre anche in game i riflessi nel 60% dei casi sono meglio su Xbox e nell’altro 40% sono uguali. Parliamo del pelo nell’uovo ma Xbox è anche più potente quindi è anche normale.

@@redhunter1535 have you seen the textures? they are always better on ps5, there are only one scene where xbox series x/s are better and maybe is a bug because there are no shadows on ps5 while throughout the game they are displayed identically
@yugi yugi Yeah overall it is worse but if you choose "best quallity" mode/settings on SS it has much more foliage but still considering that enabling/improving anistropic filtering like from x8 to x16, more foliage and similar settings are not actually demanding (no difference or just 1-3 FPS or so) and even more "level of detail" is not much more demanding, it always was so on PC games (old and new games).... ofc fun fact, with "graphics drivers" on PC you can force some settings much higher than "official max settings" and even the much older games would lag even on RTX 3090, ofc its unnecessary but you can still make it that to make even the old games really demanding even on the newest and best GPUs an CPUs avaliable (forced settings).
Keep in mind that this guy supports xbox. He only chose no npc scenes on cyberpunk for playstation 4 to exaggerate the difference. This game was advertised by Microsoft as well.

It's a different scenario, of course the reflections would also be different. Plus, in every other part of the video the PS5 version is better. Even in resolution.
Remembering that this car lighting error on the PS5 must be a bug, because an Italian Gamer recorded a gameplay on the PS5 and the lighting appears and disappears from nowhere.
If you can see the difference by yourself then you shouldn't complain about it, am not trying to offend, I know some people wants to know technical details but others will use it to talk shit about those technical differences, have a nice day :)
On Digital Foundry there were no foliage on SS/SX....... they fixed that with patches. They didnt explained thos kids what games are diing fir decades when it cimes to things like foliage etc.
yep it's the weird dynamic weather system, so some conditions can make it look very flat and ugly so polygons and textures stand out, while sometimes the light can be just right and make it look beautiful

@@dr.doctor4878 I’m not a fan boy of either but at 5.36 the outside weather is playing a big part of the overall image. Xbox sx is sunny and shadows and reflections on car v ps5 cloudy and dull weather leading to no reflections due to no sun. You will need to play the video before screen shots.

Now, there are only 2 modes on this game. Both modes sucks at resolution for series s! I don't think it even hits a native 1080p on image prioritized mode.
My 1660ti can easily compete with 3090! But the resolution,textures,reflections, shadows,anti aliasing, consistency,details of the environment brings difference!

Half of FH4 car models are poor because they have been made back in 2005 for Forza Motorsport 2, so it's not that good actually
1080p-1440p gaming is enough for me, I love my small Xbox Series S
on resolution mode but the graphic mode and fps really looked ugly
hope your happy with 900p also, because some games can't even reach 1080p and this will only get worse as the gen moves on
The graphic Mode is the best because the game looks decent on it not like the 120 mode

The game is very dynamic, weather, time of day etc. It may be difficult to create identical shots, which may explain some differences.
on PS5 I can see more details on the ground than Xbox, for example, leaves.

Dirt 5 was the only Dirt game that I finished till the end, the previous Dirt games I never finished till the end, cause dirt 5 delivers much more fun

Yes they added the foliage.......seeing in bunch of other old and new games only 1 - 3 fps difference in worst case scenario or no fps difference at all, so I kept telling its developers fault, they rushed the game or they received the dev kits too late for SS/SX. All I got was attacks and insults, from those dead brainwashed Sony fanboys and the funniest thing is, I never owned a damn Xbox console in my entire life. I was always a Sony supporter (and PC/Nintendo but thats another story). They just know nothing about tech, all they know is pointing fingers and trashtalk, how PS5 is miles ahead of SX etc...... also, a bit shame for Digital Foundry (I respect them) that they didnt explained those kids some things how something works or at least how it should work like this all Dirt 5 fiasco.

@@shakengandulf Both still maintain 2160px3840 in the visual mode. Both basically have their dips and both have their highs. Not that you will notice it anyway since the dynamic res goes somewhat beyond native 4K. At 4K you do not notice any pixels or jagged edges.

Hence the conclusion that the author of the channel does not want to show that PS5 loses in this aspect. I don't trust you anymore

Per non parlare della vegetazione nella modalità a 120 che su Xbox viene semplicemente abbassata di risoluzione mentre su ps5 oltre a ciò viene anche tagliata in parte.
Inoltre anche in game i riflessi nel 60% dei casi sono meglio su Xbox e nell’altro 40% sono uguali. Parliamo del pelo nell’uovo ma Xbox è anche più potente quindi è anche normale.

@yugi yugi Yeah overall it is worse but if you choose "best quallity" mode/settings on SS it has much more foliage but still considering that enabling/improving anistropic filtering like from x8 to x16, more foliage and similar settings are not actually demanding (no difference or just 1-3 FPS or so) and even more "level of detail" is not much more demanding, it always was so on PC games (old and new games).... ofc fun fact, with "graphics drivers" on PC you can force some settings much higher than "official max settings" and even the much older games would lag even on RTX 3090, ofc its unnecessary but you can still make it that to make even the old games really demanding even on the newest and best GPUs an CPUs avaliable (forced settings).

On Digital Foundry there were no foliage on SS/SX....... they fixed that with patches. They didnt explained thos kids what games are diing fir decades when it cimes to things like foliage etc.

yep it's the weird dynamic weather system, so some conditions can make it look very flat and ugly so polygons and textures stand out, while sometimes the light can be just right and make it look beautiful
