My style is usually to collect a manga series only after watching the anime and liking it enough to spend on the manga volumes. Whether its a complete series or not. It has the rereading factor. The only first series i just started collecting without all that is, in the clear moonlit dusk. Something about the plot hits home. 🤭

@@senorduck4591 it’ll be hard to start because I don’t wanna spend on series I don’t know if i’d like. People’s taste differs from mine. In the clear moonlit dusk is the first and only one i’ve tried.

Paradise Kiss is actually a sequel/spin-off of another Ai Yazawa’s series called “Gokinjo Monogatari” (released in english with the title “Neighborhood Story” I believe), whose female lead is the older sister of Miwako - the second female lead in Paradise Kiss. It’s a high school romance but still centers about fashion and creators too….if you love Paradise Kiss, you’re gonna **adore** Gokinjo. 💗💗
I'll definitely look in to Gachiakuta, Gokurakugai and Marriage Toxin! Also I'd recommend Go! Go! Loser Ranger! it got an anime adaptation recently and it's really good pretty unique!

LOVE these recommendations!! I really recommend Mairimashita! Iruma-kun ( or welcome to demon school iruma kun) The manga is sooo amazing and filled with so much lovable characters with great relationship building as well as plenty of action and the comedy is top tier. Although in short it’s about a Human boy who gets adopted by a demon and now has to navigate going to a demon school it’s just so much fun and the STORY is amazing!! It’s also filled with so much underlying themes!! I just want everyone to read it. It also has a anime which is just as great. (but the manga is better!!)
I've never heard of most of these books, but so many sound really good - I'll have to see if my library has any of them!

16:40 AAAH march comes in like a lion!!!! 😭 i've been following on every single chapter of it. i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. it's a bit hard to read, especially if you know nothing about shogi, and there's quite a bunch of dialogue on each panel, but i enjoy it. really.

Snow White with the Red Hair NEEDS to be on this list! It's such a smartly-written, enchanting title with beautiful artwork and amazing characters!❤❤❤ Can't recommend it enough!
What’s it about?
@@BlueButterfly1514 It's about Shirayuki, an herbalist with extremely rare red hair, and Zen, the second prince of the neighboring kingdom. I'm not doing this amazing series justice though, so here's an excerpt from the wiki for the anime:
"Although her name means "snow white", Shirayuki is a cheerful, red-haired girl living in the country of Tanbarun. She works diligently as a pharmacist at her herbal shop. Her life changes drastically when she is noticed by the entitled prince of Tanbarun, Prince Raji, because of her rare red hair. He tries to force her to become his concubine.
Unwilling to give up her freedom, Shirayuki cuts her long red hair, leaving it as a souvenir for the prince, and escapes into the forest of the neighboring country of Clarines. After being found by the Raji, she is rescued by Zen Wistaria, the second prince of a Clarines, and his two aides. Love Sakamoto Days so much. One of the funniest books I've ever read. Witch Hat Atilier is amazing so far. I have to get Gokurakugai. Would also recommend Yotsuba& for beginners-- one of my favourites (waiting for Vol. 16!)

Gokurakugai is like Berserk and 5th one is similar to Elemental Gelade but hard to find the name. Skip looks okay. Neat will probably read those. Plus Tongue and Call the Night.

Blue box is such a refreshing manga. Even though it serializes in Shonen Jump, it feels like a shojo manga... It is definitely recommended to all romance lovers.

i like usotoki rhetoric and think associate professor akira-kun's conjecture is similar and maybe better, although i like the novels better than the manga. the main character also can hear lies and joins up with someone to solve mysteries, but it's set in current day.
Have you heard of chi no wadachi/blood on the tracks. it's a really good psychological horror. def recommend
