    Oh man, Pete. Every time I watch you demo something (and you're right, this thing does sound great) I learn a new chord or two that I just want to use in a half a dozen new songs. Today it was that second chord (the one after the A)...the A6sus2(#11). GREAT chord. I've been playing for decades and never played that chord before! Love it! As usual, your playing is outstanding, and your song writing ability is exceptional. Thanks for all you do.

    This look super useful as a last stage before the amplifier - no matter what patch your pedal board is on, no matter what combination of pedals you have switched on, you could use this as a final stage to always make sure you are hitting your amp at the level you want to be (with the ability to make EQ adjustments too)

    Once again, sir, you have access to THEE coolest gear. When I saw the first Chase Bliss in the open few seconds of the video I was.. wtf? Then I saw the flying faders on it and I was..WTF?!!!... lol. Another great gear review, Pete. The Chasse Bliss Preamp is a great sounding bit of gear and you did an outstanding job on showing it's capabilities with some great playing. The various tones you demonstrated goes from such a wide range of Hendrix like wah and fuzz all the way to Satriani "Surfing with the Alien" era. The sustain it gives is unbelievable.. that last note that you played. "Listen to the sustain....you can go and have a bite and you'll still be hearing that one” - Nigel Tufnel And on top of that.. FLYING FADERS!! What more does a mere mortal need? I'm good... I'll just watch the pedal..lol. Cheers! Thanks so much, Pete. Another stellar gear review.

    I recently added the Benson Preamp to my rig and it, by itself, has been tonal heaven. To take that sonic base and do all that with it...amazing. Hi Pete, nice demo! But a correction to make: the silicon/germanium button is not transistors for the fuzz, its clipping diodes for the preamp gain, and is actually the only thing, that didnt do much sense to me when I owned it, the difference is marginal at best.

    It's been said before but especially true here that your playing was exceptional and inspiring in showing what this pedal can do. And there's so much that it does. Its amazing how you demonstrate so many features to their best and fit them all into a compostion. A great demo and not for the first time I'm clicking over to see how much it costs. It's a bit out of my budget this time but I just realised I have accumulated at least three pedals that I was sold on by your demos.

    Awesome demo @Pete Thorn love the wah fuzz! I'm proud to having anything to do with this project and happy companies like @Chase Bliss Audio as usual are pushing the envelop in technology and offering, instead of trying to give me the cheapest overdrive available. To do everything this does you would need about 11-12 pedals, and those sounds compare to some of the best vintage gear I have. You just have to be open to new ideas (Hendrix was right?) while great tones are easily had right from the start

    This thing keeps tugging at me. I had convinced myself it was good but not $800 cool - but I keep hearing demos and it sounds better every time and like others have said, this is the best sounding one I’ve heard yet. I could consolidate my fuzz and three drives into a single pedal on my board but like others I wonder about the life of those faders in something meant to get stepped on. Think I’m going to wait until these have been out a while and see how they handle the road. (Not that I’m on the road much - but if they can survive those that are it’ll easily survive my mild gigging schedule)

  • @neilgaydon5430
    @neilgaydon5430 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the innovation. Man, I worry about those physical motorised sliders on the floor accidentally getting kicked, trodden, dirt, beer spills, certainly in the bars I play. If and when they do a screen with virtual sliders, while not as cool or perhaps as easy to see, will make it bar band gig worthy and half the price then I’m in. Chase Bliss are masters at digitally controlled analog so sounds should be identical.

    Question for anyone that knows the answer: do you still need a amp/cab sim pedal after automatone in the chain (like strymon iridium) if you are planning to plug it directly in a computer audio interface?

    • @dylanthomas389
      @dylanthomas389 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need a cab sim, but not necessary an amp sim. And if you're going for DI tones like "Revolution," or some early Steely Dan or Neil Young stuff, you might not even need the cab sim.
