Great that you include children and give them an opportunity to discover what a magical planet we all landed on! U R aWeSoMe and your enthusiasm is infectious ❣️
My daughter and me absolutely love your videos. She's 1 1/2 and whenever I say "wanna watch the new crystal collector video?" She drops whatever she is doing and runs over and crawls in my lap. Thank you for helping me make some cute memories with her. Maybe she will be inspired to be her own crystal collector when she's older:)
Garnets are my daughter Christina's birthstone. Your videos have inspired us to be "easily distracted by rocks"! She actually found a stone with a garnet in it on a road in a business park nearby - confirmed by a jeweler! So exciting! Even in Westchester County, NY! Keep digging! Matrix is adorable . Love all your videos.
I’m a avid shed horn ( antler) hunter & collector but your videos are fun & exciting and family orientated it makes me want to take up a new hobby! Love & enjoy your channel! & thanks for all the work you put into these fantastic videos!! God Bless!!
Matrix is SO freaking cute omg 😭❤️ and idk if it’s an old video or if it’s your haircut but you BOTH look like babies 😆😂 ps when Matrix barks at the horse - too funny! 🐴 haha it’s always the little pups with the most bark 😉🥰❤️
Really appreciate your content! You are always very friendly and informative, and all your videos are child friendly. I love seeing the kids out enjoying nature and finding treasures.
🌿. I like to always leave two faces natural and polished the rest.. 😮❤️👍. I can't believe my ( spread love ) sticker is still on the bottom left of that sign... 🥰🥰
I had no idea garnets could even be that beautiful, seriously thanks for taking us along with you on your journey! Great pod cast the other day too, awesome getting to know you!
Sweet Caroline!! 🌞❤✨🙌 Matrix is funny, just had to let that Horse know he is here!! 🌟🌌❤ doggarnet! u funny Brian! haha☺ Those are some beautiful pieces!!🙏 polish some, not all.
Great video Bryan, I found garnets on a mountain here in Scotland around fifteen year ago. They were a lot smaller than those whoppers, but they are very clear and gemmy, like red rock candy.
A sandy bottom is uncomfy. I found that out at Huntington Beach. I have mixed thoughts about whether I would polish a big one like that or not. Usually I like to keep things in their natural state, but in this case, you can’t even really see the crystal or it’s true color. Tough choice. Thanks for the video, Lord Brian! Looks like it was another fun Crystal Clubhouse adventure.
I'd personally polish some, and leave some in their natural form, and display them side by side so people can see what it looks like in the wild and what it looks like when it's been worked on.
My wife , kids and I went out to little Pine late last year . I brought back 7 big garnets. Most are semi polished now. We chose there based on your previous video on the place. Loved it.
Firstly before I forget, have you heard of Mary-Ellen Jasper? My youngest son has a shop and he had to wait a few months but he gave me 2 for my Christmas and Birthday present, they are such a deep purple/red they look either black or brown depending on the light. I'm thrilled with them, and he had to wait quite a while for them, I dont know where they come from but they are such a spectacular gift that I treasure. As for the garnets I think they look wonderful polished on part of them and the rest natural. Matrix had me chuckling when he barked at the horse, and that was a beauty. I always wanted to learn but could never afford to when I was able sadly but I can get great pleasure in watching them. I'm glad you had lovely weather for your days digging and everyone enjoyed themselves, thank you for filming it Bryan. Take care and stay safe please my friend God bless you and Matrix, love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
I have not heard of Mary Ellen Jasper. Sounds like it’s very beautiful!! Yea when matrix barked at the horse I had to grab him fast, lol. I didn’t want that horse to stomp him!! Matrix doesn’t realize how small he is sometimes 😆 God bless you and your family too 🙌🙏💜 Always love to hear from you!!
@@TheCrystalCollector Matrix is a very brave little man, one of my late dogs wouldn't let any animal, bird or even an insect near me without me having to grab him, but out with my sons he would play with other dogs and ignore bigger animals. Matrix was probably trying to protect you Bryan bless him. I love to hear from you yoo sweetheart love and hugs Mary-Ellen
Wow those are really cool. I like how you leave most of the sides natural and then just polish one face of the stone because they are sooo interesting to look at with all of the pebbly surfaces.
Hiya Brian, hey you cut your hair, I watched the podcast you were on with my friends, that was pretty awesome, you had them shaking in their shoes with all the cool crystals you were bringing out, and all the cool stories about how you found them. I almost didn't recognize you on the podcast. It's been a long time since I've seen you with your hair cut short, nice! Awesome video, one day I want to return to S.C. I have relatives that still live there. I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😺🐟 out!
So cool. Saw you on the podcast, vary cool. GeoRockNerd turned me on to your video at magdalina new mexico to the graphic mine. Added it to my list as I want to go to the kelly mine just a few miles away. Thanks for the videos. Rock On!
Thank you for another wonderful show !!!! As always watched a few times. Would love to see the polished ....too bad you didn't have enough time to you to go home relax polish a few . that huge Garnet should be polished it would be wonderful ! Thank you again a great show you and Matrix are looking well. Hope you had fun . chat later. Looking forward to seeing polished ones. Bye Suzanne Schube .
Didn’t mean to hit send yet. I never thought much about garnets my whole life except it was our high school “school stone” most of us had in our school rings. Never thought about it at all back then - it just “was.” That is until I watched your garnet videos. Now I really want to go! I’ve also since found out it’s a favorite of one of my sisters! I wish she would make a trip with me but she’d never leave her two chihuahuas for more than a handful of hours.
The place looks beautiful Brian! I would definitely polish them! I like the sharp edges and the color is better. Nice garnets though! Happy hunting! 😄💙🐬
Hey handsome like the new haircut. Matrix and you looked to be having a really great day out there. Do you cut and shape your stones? I'm looking for a Cabochon Garnet.
Fascinated by the pegmatites in the area with so many fake roadside gem mining operations in the area. Found out about this place the summer of 2020 when so much was shut down. Maybe I’ll make it this year. Thx for the reminder!
Use to go there all the time. Always found the best inside the mine and being that I'm a caver I really enjoyed getting underground no matter how shallow. Once they closed the shaft (Due to a dunce collapsing a small section onto himself) I lost all interest. If they ever open the shaft back up I'll be back.
Brian my mom said that we could schedule a day and time to come out and dig where ever you go next but we’ll have to pay for a plane ticket. I’m not sure when but hopefully we’ll figure it out sooner or later.
I love your vids on crystals but what got me was the arkansas one where you could dig out tbe huge crystals but could not keep any of them. That was a bummer and i was wondering did they use people to get free labor saying you can dig but not keep?
As per the big one at the end of the video = I would probably polish 1/2-2/3 of it and , leave the rest natural before building the little show case for it . That way , I could have the light in the case show off both the natural and the polished sides equally . Totally polish about 50% ( for ex : 1 natural 1 polished ) of the others for the same reason .
I would polish all of them! I love the deep red color! Thanks, Brian, for another great video. ☺

That's crazy!!! I was just up there yesterday. Had the whole place to myself. Found some awesome garnets. Looks like y'all made out pretty well too.
Sooooo cool! I love the ones that are part polished, part natural!
Hi
Looks like a whole lot of fun.
Great video!! Thank you for sharing!!
I would definitely polish. Definitely need to take a trip to NC for this soon! Garnet is so beautiful 😍
N.C. also has some awesome kynite too.
Sweet Garnets, there HUGE!
Good times right there!
Agree with Michael Hagan: polish half!! Contrast, bay-bee!
Last time I was there was July '19. You could go inside the mine there. Its awesome
I laughed so hard when matrix started in on the horse and Bryan snatching him up 😂
Hello 👋. I would clean the garnet pieces to reveal that beautiful natural polish.
I am in NC, gonna have to check this place out
OMG, grape Waterloo is the BEST! Looks like yall had a great time!! Would love to go do a dig there!
Thanks for the video.........
I'll have to plan another trip up there since they have dozed off the tailings pile. We found quite a few on our first trip but no larger ones.

I would polish all but one for display and teaching.
Do they have any of jewelry clarity come from the digs?
Like the new cut!
I hope you put some of these up for sale 😍 would love to buy one!

Finally a location I've been to
I'll have to check it out sometime. About 3 hours west of me.

FUN!!!🤸
Ótimo vídeo! Matrix deixa tudo mais divertido ❤🐶

I would polish them all. When I think of a garnet, it's a shiny colored stone. Btw, the hair cut looks great. You look about 10 years younger.
