The senior gentleman was spot on in his views. Ireland has no Honours systems, which is absolutely cool. Ireland is a modern forward thinking EU nation.
You mean a tax haven for software companies with the highest cost of living per capita in the world, rampant corruption and dripping in deep rooted and insidious nationalism? If so…then yes.
I do think that HRH the Queen did the right thing by apologising to the people of the Republic of Ireland for issues that had caused division between the two nations in the past. I am glad to hear what the gentleman says that the apology has gone a long way to help heal wounds and mend bridges between the two great nations. You always want to try and get along with your neighbours and hopefully that can be the case. As for Prince Andrew, I quite frankly don't really like him or his attitude. I would be quite content if he were to take himself away to a British territory somewhere in the Southern hemisphere where we don't have to hear or see him.
Why would Ireland would have an inferiority complex? They won independence and they maintained their identity in spite of centuries of subjugation. Their government also played an integral part in the healing process in relations with Northern Ireland and with the UK.
Post-colonialism. Many Irish institutions still look to our former colonisers for direction. We make all the same mistakes, generally around 20 years later!
Because United Kingdom put English first, then Welsh then Scottish then Irish. Irish and Scottish know this for years they have been the bad guys. But when a Scottish or Irish does well in Sport or pop culture they are refered to as british else they are Scottish and Irish respectfully
It reminds me of this one time I was in a library: two people were talking about their taste in humour. I remember the man saying something along the lines of "black humour. Can I say that?".
Ireland is a republic, but really, that is just a reaction to british rule. It is not what Ireland should naturally be. Ireland should ditch the republic and get back its monarchy, the High Kings of Ireland. It should also just trade with the EU, like Norway. When I see TG4, I see what Ireland should be.
The guy with the bandana is delusional if he A. thinks price Andrew knew nothing about what was going on and B the queen healed anything when she came over here.
Totally agree. A royal patsy. The kind of mug they love and will keep the royal con going. I loathe the fact that I have no choice in contributing financially to their lives. I'd like my contribution to go towards building a shelter for ex military who have mental health issues due to 'serving their queen and country'. They get to live on the streets though while these immoral individuals live in palaces. Absolutely disgusting!

Think of the vast majority of people who don't actually vote Conservative. Only 35% of votes do and voters only make a small fraction of the whole population. Its possibly less than 10% of everyone who actually votes for them.
The last point is spot on.
"Uninformed" is exactly how Murdoch wants his readers. Same is the US. Same in Australia.
Thats correct.

He might need a face nappy that fits him though. 🤣😂
Forward thinking ? Lol
An EU nation ? So it's not a nation then. The EU is run on an old german foreign policy model called limited sovereignty. It's not about independence.
