It’s a dirty pilot jet or it’s your accelerator pump diaphragm is cracked. Very easy to check and fix. It’s on the bottom of the carb. If the diaphragm is cracked or broke it will bog with quick turns of the throttle
@@BrandonPaech Most likely yes. However if you get it hot and it still does that, adjust the fuel/air screw(located underneath the floatbowl on the carburetor) about 1/4 of a turn at a time. Usually it needs to be leaned out a little. Also sometimes it helps if you clean the carburetor.
I was having same issue. Cleaned it throughly. What helped out most was putting air fuel screw at 3 turns out. Which tells me the pilot is to small for a stock bike.

Accelarator pump adjustment or clogged jets but i put my money on the jets on this one whit the pump it will no idle and turn off ass soon as you twist.
Mines doing the same its a brand new rebuilt motor and the carb has new jets its a new carb but it bogs when I stab it and when it dosent bog it backfires
If its boging and backfiring its a jetting problem/ its running lean ...if you get the jd jetting kit it comes with a dyagram of what jets to use...also the boysen quick shot 3 accelorator pump is the best thing you can do to your carb
Ride it. Its ment to be ridden, not sit on a stand and twist the throttle as fast as you can while its in neutral. Its carbureted and under no load. 250f will do this too. Part of it is tuning your accelerator pump so it squirts fuel strong and at the proper time, but its never gonna be perfect.
@curtisedie4280 show me a video of this bike doing that.... this is a bike with the throttle being whacked while in neutral... not riding and using the clutch.. or stalling when going to use the clutch, or whatever you're trying to say.
turn choke off after 30 seconds and then you can already get on it and ride but for first few minutes like 5 dont DONT get it in high rpms, stay in really low ones, but if you let it on idle just give it 5-10 minutes
Bought a bran New 2018 CRF150R expert and it runs like a pile of crap. Same Issue boggs so bad, red hot pipe, warm up takes 30 minutes, $5300 for a bike that is garbage. We installed the Boysen2 and a 9oz Flywheel weight it helped a bit but still bogs, we will use super high octane fuel and new spark plug. what a failure HONDA. The chats and videos are zero help, No solution found yet. frusterated? yes!
Your best option is to rebuild and clean the whole carb. If that doesn't work then: check your spark plug replace head gasket check valve timing check piston and cylinder for any damage check crank bearings And if ALL OF THAT doesn't work then just get a new bike.
@@dls951 yeah reading comments like what those others type makes me triggered cuz ofc it needs to work perfectly and give full throttle if i decide to give it
johnsn10 totally incorrect. People would be dead all over the track if all bikes flamed out when you went from idle stait to WOT and it bogged out. Needs a bigger pilot jet. Probably a 45. A Boyesen quick shot 3 or a R&D bowl fixes it to. I’d probably just try the JD jet kit first though since it’s the cheapest.
Jacob Reed open up the carb, clean out carb, blow through all jets to see if clogged check floats to see if they are balanced. Also check your fuel and air mix screw if none of these work. Just TH-cam it. I fixed my bike today with the exact same problem on a 4 stroke
Don't spend money ,just clean the jet,it's really easy.( The 3 screws inside the carb. In the bottom)

Yeah common issue with them, it usually gets better when the bike is hot
So the bikes just cold

Either let the bike warm up or try cleaning the jets and make sure the carb float is in place

+Ronald Conrad main jet really a 42?!!? you mean 142?? That's you're problem. haha What did it end up being??
This is my issue im having with my 1979 honda cb650 also
Same mines a 80 though
Let it warm up
Air fuel mixture screw slightly off maybe due to your quick throttle

Your valves need ajusted this happened to be when I had my 150 still and we got the valves ajusted then it didn't do that anymore
Thx so much I have been trying to fix it for 2 weeks and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong then I saw it had 25.5 hours and I thought of the valves
My brand new KTM does this too
just fixed my problem. Check the spark plug
Can you please tell me how you fixed it?

Cant ride it if it stalls when you need throttle for clutch and it dies....

i had same problem but all you need to do is warm it up
Let it warm up/choke it a little/ make more fuel from the carb
Just jet the carb for better performance anyways and that’s just bc it’s not hot
i will take it if you dont want it
Needs a carb clean the jets are clogged, if back firing then your carb need a good cleaning jets need a cleaning
I get same problem
just tune the carb, replace spark plugs and new exhaust. that's what my friend did...
What was the problem here? I have a 230 doing the same thing
Mine does the same thing and I have put a new accelerator pump and spark plug I need help
did you fix it, mine does the same exact thing as this vid
Your missing a o ring in your carb it has 2 but you only have one
It’s a Honda four stroke that’s the problem
But guys my bike is fuel injector.... n I'm facing the same problem....
Anyone knows how to fix it
How did you fix this?
I have the same problem with my 2015 and it has one hour on it any ideas???
cummins normal
How long dose it usually take for a 250 to warm up
turn choke off after 30 seconds and then you can already get on it and ride but for first few minutes like 5 dont DONT get it in high rpms, stay in really low ones, but if you let it on idle just give it 5-10 minutes
Hold the throttle wide open for 6 minutes and there u go

Crabby fuck
Clean the carb or buy a new carb . Make sure air filter is clean . Check valve timing , make sure oil doesn’t have gas in it from a loose seal .
Nolan713 Fyler did you end up finding out why I got a 16 with a few hours does the same frap
you ever figure out what needed work because mine does the literal same exact thing. starts easy but bogs and takes forever to get warm
Its not good ratio of sir and gas and accelerator pump can be too
Was it cold
carb needs a clean
Accelerator pump turn out to much
May try not twisting throttle that hard or adjusting idle
Your best option is to rebuild and clean the whole carb. If that doesn't work then:
check your spark plug
replace head gasket
check valve timing
check piston and cylinder for any damage
check crank bearings

You can't just give it all it's got you can't twist the throttle that fast
5,0 dirt bike riders if you're riding track you're gonna be doing that all the time
