Ebikes are good fun, I have one but they're currently prone to overheating (the controller) if comparing to traditional petrol motorbikes. In the future things may be different but if you are thinking about buying an ebike don't expect the same reliability of a good old petrol engine IMO I wouldn't give mine back though, for short distances ebikes have obvious advantages like no tax, no rego, reduced running costs etc etc it's all good 👍

Very high power ebikes absolutely need an exponential curve, low power can deal with linear curves Btw gas engines seem archaic compared to electric, gas sounds awful and stinks
What's the lowest the seat post can go down (what's the distance from the top of the seat to the ground?) Seems a bit high, you and your son are pretty tall guys.
