We bought tickets through the cruiseline, so we just got in line and got on the train. If you buy tickets in town, you must go back to the train. There is a shuttle that runs around town for a small fee. You can purchase shuttle passes by the ride or for all day.
We were there in September. If you like beautiful landscapes, you’ll love the train ride. If you get bored with beautiful landscapes, then maybe not for you. We loved it!
Looks stunning! We are off to Alaska in 2024 but sail from Vancouver down to San Francisco then onto Las Angeles. We have to do another in 2025 just in Alaska. 👍

We bought bus tickets at the bus when we got on initially.

We didn't go in. We wanted to explore the town, eat,, AND I had to find hairspray! 🤣
