Themes are perfectly composed and timed. Soundtrack that works in unison with the games are few and far between. Not many developers realize how important it is for the story. 0:00 - Opening Cinematic. Introduction to cast. You've been given wings. 0:40 - Anticipation of action. Assessing the situation is over and it's time to get down to business. Flamenco theme subtly plays, helping to set the stage for the game. 0:47 - Glory of taking control for the very first time. Triumphant music lasts a while as you take a few seconds to learn how to fly your plane. 1:21 - Quick transition into music that themes your mission for the rest of the score. A sense of urgency and routine professionalism matches the gameplay and story.
such a well put commentary. A soundtrack that sync perfectly both in action and the general situation overall to the games indeed had decrease overall these years. An epic orchestral music is nice but if done too much it will be turn into generic orchestra bait trash
1st thing you see in this AC when you start: "2 planes flying alone" and "Ustio Air Force 6th Division 66th Air Force" , if that wasn't give you badass feeling , then idk
*Fires another missile, ensuring the enemy force will not be repairing and sending a $60 million aircraft back into the fray in a few weeks.* "War is economics, buddy. Sixty million to replace your plane is sixty million not spent on bullets in your guns, training for your infantry, or gasoline for your tanks. It's also a thousand in my pocket when I get home. Enjoy reality, and remember that the ejection handle is between your legs."
Andrew Rogers Pretty good, all things considered. Still at university... Extremely ambivalent towards United States politics... And dominating _Warthunder_. How are you doing? :D
What Pixy says about Cipher changes based on Ace Style. If you're a Mercenary, he'll say: "People say you never let your prey get away". If you're a Soldier, he says " People say you can read the tide of battle"; and if you're a Knight, "That pride's gonna get you killed, you know".
He also changes what he says based on how you act during a mission. In the Annex mission for example, if you destroy civilian homes and camps, he says something like "Good call, they were probably using those to store supplies". If you don`t, he says something like "I assume those people are going to want to return here when this is all over." Pretty neat, AC.
It actually depends on Ace Style. He'll always say "Civilian houses are within the planned range of attack. Is... this part of the operation?" Afterwards, the lines change: M-"Looks like Cipher wants to do it." S-"These houses are probably full of Belkan supplies. Better not take any chances." K-"I don't think Cipher wants to do it.", afterwards "The owners of these houses will probably return after the war's over."
Correction. On Soldier style, Pixy says "Are we gonna crush those houses? It's your call, Cipher." The line you wrote is always said if you start blowing up the houses, regardless of ace style.

04 is my favorite Ace Combat game, but Zero is a close second. They did a fantastic job on both. One thing I prefer about Zero is the improved starter selection. J35J Draken all the way. That and the Gripen were my first two units. This game made me fall in love with SAAB stuff
If you play the intro of this song to the refueling cutscene of AC6, you get a pretty cinematic experience when they say "Let's go! Gracemeria dead ahead!"

66th Air Force Unit*
Rodrigs99 D: oh! damm ... thanks ... i forgot the "unit" part
"That pride's gonna get you killed, you know."
"Low-life mercenaries! Only you would be so cowardly to shoot down a plane that's out of commission!"

Actually, he says "I heard you got what it takes to win", for Soldier route.
0:47 is where you light your afterburners to rush into battle for the first time. Such an epic feeling

Where exactly ?
JENS DAEMS 0:50 - 1:20 Listen carefully. The strings(violins) in the background are identical to the Unsung War.
