I have this jet and its a blast! I put a 2306 2000kv motor on back with a 6x6 prop and still flies pretty fast and get about 10 mins of flight time on a 3s 1500 lipo
Very cool, I have the same one as well. Hobby Kings F18 is the exact same jet. If you want some speed fun with it, I installed an xfly 4s 50mm unit with 40amp esc and used a 1300mah 5s battery with it. 100+ MPH easy, lol. Fun jet for sure and would recommend it to anyone.

My parents have been there on vacation and I am planning to get there at some point too, though I don't think it will be this year, it is kinda far! I am planning a trip to Volos for a few days in May though, really curious to check out that area! :)

@@jas-FPV Even a gyro makes a world of difference in windy weather, but that is when full manual is most valuable for your skills! :) Ask me how I know! :P
unfortunatelly sold out and for me it felt a bit expensive considering the discounts we will see for RC planes in 2024 cause the chinese economy is now stalling and closing factories day by day and can no longer hide it. Streetwise every 3rd factory is closing in major hubs which means inventory will appear soon for low prices. Great review and happy new year ! Good to see you back !

Hmmmm... interesting theory... although these are kind of niche products, and every third factory over there does not make RC planes... not sure if our hobby would be affected by a theoretical price drop due to stock dump... would nice if it does... but I have my doubts... would be too good to be true! Usually in these cases somebody buys the inventory for cheap, but keeps the price for the end customer pretty much the same... we rarely get to benefit from stuff like this!

But you know... whatever floats you boat I guess! Also, I was around long before Bardwell, Kapper, Charpu or any other quad racer, and I built some of the first race quads, if you could call them that all the way back then... with some of the first race quad specific parts coming out of China. All those guys came after that, I just never found much of a liking for these machines to get heavily invested in them! Prefer planes a good deal more!

Right... well... that is not an EDF model anymore! I prefer having the EDF unit in there even with all of its limitations! :)
