There is a build that bungie keeps buffing and now with the current season its absolutely broken and the best part: it works for Crucible 6v6, Trials of Osiris, Raids, Dungeons, GMs, and so much more. Its insane to me that THIS much power exists and all you need to get it is grab a few exotics

Fun fact: i did not and actually revisted this while making a vesper build pre deep, coldheart has always been a slept on weapon and is more of a multi tool than the Midas ever are…at least for now

I’ve been running this build with mantle of battle harmony for a few seasons now, it’s absolutely fantastic. Made arc fun again even before the supers actually did damage.
an important part of running this build is understanding double special mechanics. when you are running two specials, getting a kill with your heavy has a VERY high chance to give you special ammo, often proving multiple bricks from just one rocket shot or a few sword swings.
Or, hear me out, just swap to your heavy and throw a grenade.

Also while wearing cenotaph exotic helm , if your teammates generate heavy , they also generate special for you.
Another good alternative to the Cenotaph if you don't have it yet and if you're playing solo is the Stag - that extra damage resistance while in the wells that you will have almost constant uptime with can save your bacon in a pinch.

Surprised by the lack of mention of Fallen Sunstar. Increased potency of each ionic trace plus allies around you benefit from them. It’s been my personal preference for exotic with this build.
I'm so annoyed I can't get it. I've spent all week stuck at 1809. Pinnacle gear isn't moving me at all. I get shredded in the legendary lost sector. But it is perfect for this season.
if crown of tempest didn't buff the recharge rate of EVERYTHING including supers i would agree with you, getting chaos reach in ~2 minutes with 50 intelect is too funny to use anything else

@@jessbower9021 Yep, threw on Crown after a long time of not using it (because it's so friggin' ugly) and was very impressed. With the right build, what even is a cooldown with that thing on.

For the class item, I recommend using the new mod to pick up orbs when you use your class ability, with the spam you have and all the orb synergy it goes hard.
Going to watch the rest... but uhh yeah. We are most definitely playing a video game and we play video games to have fun. Key factor here and I think people need to remember that.

5:06 i made a pretty similar build to this when arc 3.0 first released that uses Fallen Sunstar and Coldheart which is pretty good for both assisting teammates and personal ability spam as well as making it easier to collect ionic traces made at longer range
edit: Mantle of Battle Harmony works alright as long as you are add clearing, but it's not the greatest when focusing a single target

I’ve been running something similar too this build for awhile but with getaway artist instead. I rock the arc bolt grenade for the lower cooldown (which I know isn’t a big deal because of traces but I also just like arcbolt) and getaway artist gives me 5 more seconds on my arc soul while also giving me immediate amplification going into engagements, or if I just wanna be speedy I can pop it. Mainly the on demand amp that keeps getaway artist for me
I've been using this arc build since before with queen, but with fallen sunstar, and i love it even more now
big tip with arc is that it is VERY flexable with what you want to run.
armour choices are:
fallen sunstar for more ability spam
getaway artist for arc soul and instant amplified
mantle of battle harmony which gives super energy and more dmg for your weapon when super is full
stormdancers brace/geomags for a more impactful super
weapon choices are:
riskrunner for arc heavy dmg areas (fallen, etc.)
trinity ghoul/thunderlord for ad clear
coldheart for decent dmg and steady flow of arc traces
delicate tomb for easy jolts
grand overture/Legend of acrius for good burst dmg
and a good legendary arc weapon can work as well.
while some combinations of these are better than others (trinity or thunderlord + mantle/coldheart or delicate tomb + fallen sunstar) they all can work well for what you want.
i like how you break everything down while showing things working as well as get straight to the point with the equipped weapons armor and mods/artifact. all while a pretty entertaining display to keep me interested in the whole build. very good job i was tired of watching an entire video to see the last 3 seconds of a build being the only thing i cared about.
man i just got this exotic today and this was the first build i thought of, once you know about the fragment everything just comes into place

You should hold a contest with builds like this and judge who has the best build with friends and possibly other creators. Make sure it’s a single build for each class!
Fun fact, you can run a variant of this using Getaway Artist. Eating your first pulse doesn't matter when you get it back in 5 seconds and Sentient arc buddy is pretty nasty after all the changes. Since rift refreshes it's timer and you get rift back in seconds as well, you can basically permanently have your spicy boy smacking everything that vaguely approaches you
Yeah, it's not as good as Cenotaph, but it's a great alternative if you're not into wearing a coffee table for a hat or being forced to run legend lost sectors solo for hours.
Usually if you’re using getaway artist using the arc soul rift is actually worse since the arc soul rift actually doesn’t contribute to recharging your grenade unlike arc soul from getaway artist

I have been absolutely loving coldheart for pvp recently so I'm glad to see this kind of video!
Great synergy indeed. I've been running the Stag a lot, even last season. The 25-35% damage reduction just makes harder content way easier to just cruise through. Synergizes perfectly with arc souls too, and you can chain the rifts easily as noted.

These multi use builds are quickly becoming my favorite type of videos. As you say, it's a game and games are meant to be fun. What's more fun than making a lot of effects happen all at once?
Pro tip: getaway artist is also quite good with this , it gives arc soul+amplified whenever you consume you grenade. You can run flash nades for lower cooldown.
Ive been running this all season so far and i dont have the helmet but ive been using crown of tempest which has always been goated and lets you spam all them abilities even more
Main reason I use pulse grenade is 1. It's cooldown is too similar to other choices, 2. When paired with "arc grenades jolt targets" it self procs the chain lightning.
I've been running a variation if this build since earlier this week, Mantle has been nice for the extra super energy on kills but I'd almost say that Getaway Artist has been almost as good, just swapped out the grenade duration fragment out for personal preference.

Wavesplitter needs a catylist and a damage increase. Cold heart should be the sustained dps champ but wave should be matching it.
why? wave matches with void which in general is better than arc 3.0. especially since it gives built in healing and overshields with invisibility. also has the same offensive capabilities as arc 3.0. this build isn’t even better than void 3.0 it’s just since there are so many artifact mods synergizing with arc it makes it better than void this season. I.E. last season with all the void mods that made it way better than arc.
Wavesplitter is absolutely ludicrous rn- a damage buff would literally break the game
a catalyst would be fun though
I’ve been running this build before anyone made it a build, but I’ll sometimes use getaway artists, it’s a very nice build
I've been running Coldheart + Getaway Artists for a few seasons now and as soon as I saw Cenotaph I knew it would be great. Sentient Arc Soul (Getaway consume) grants grenade energy each time it deals damage. Pair that with traces and Coldheart and you'll never be wanting for nades. Since the Arc Soul aspect REFRESHES the Sentient, you can literally have it up 100% of the time if you loop it correctly. Coldheart had been slept on for awhile and I'm glad it's getting the recognition it deserves.
P.S.: Minor buff to flux grenades pls

Sanguine alchemy is the best for this even when out of armor charges rift for times 2 surge on healing rift

Congrats you just made a great Gambit build! Seriously, not even a joke. This exact thinking is why making builds for Freelance Gambit is my “end-game” build crafting. It’s such a fun and interesting restriction to be somewhat decent at all four of the main ideals mentioned in this video. Because you have to be! In Freelance you can’t trust any of your teammates to be good at any of the main aspects of a match and thus you have to be sure you’re able to pick up the slack wherever you are needed.
Ad-clear, boss DPS, PvP with Invasions and Invasion defense, and running motes plus clearing blockers; you gotta be a jack-of-all trades. Of course that also means you’re a master-of-none but I find that super meta builds always devolve into the best things with no variety. This is more interesting and fun to me. Also has the side effect of being great builds for mid-level PvE such as solo dungeon runs and legend solo content. Would recommend it’s quite fun to experiment with!

Couldn't you also slot arc surge mods into the boots as well for more damage or does something cancel it out somewhere
Since you're on Arc subclass, you can do Harmonic Siphon for 1 less energy... might open other options elsewhere

Fun fact, empowering rift also buffs chaos reach damage.
Its even more busted with the mod in the arficat that that makes makes you creat lighting strikes with your melle and arc weapon kill while amolified

Do not keep divinity firing continuously, click freak out to save ammo and the ball do not break

i dont have the aircraft carrier or the mantle of battle harmony. can i use crown of tempest as a substitute, as it increases ability recharge with jolt or arc ability kills?
7:30 For the curious, Elemental Charge works on a "stack" system. So with one mod, you'll get a charge after every 3 ionic traces. Two mods brings it down to a 2:1 ratio. Three stays a 2:1, so better to just go with 2 at most.
If further testing proves me wrong I'll gladly take the L but so far it's been pretty consistent:
- Stasis starts at a 4:1 and goes down to 2:1 at three copies.
- Tangles start at a 2:1 and go to 1:1 at two copies (no idea why lol).
- And firesprites/void breaches both stay at 2:1 until the third copy.
I did extensive testing when it first came out. Weirdly enough warlock gave me a charge every 3 traces, 2-3 with two mods, and 2 with 3 mods. While titan for both me and a friend gave a charge every 3-4 traces for some reason. Also tangles should give one for every tangle, not two and it should work when thrown, not just shot
Of course I forgot about the new exotic helmet and the recent buff to coldheart, silly me 😅

Fallen Sunstar is filthy with this build. Delicate Tomb also runs close second monkey to Coldheart in low to mid tier content. Coldheart absolutely is the choice in high end but Delicate Tomb is just too fun in easier stuff. Keep it coming Meesome. Best Destiny content on the tube.
On titan try the newly buffed Eternal Warrior.
the boruto called crucible gives e acid reflex though...need a tums called momentum control after.

I'm still waiting for you to show off Coldheart in a titans hands. Season 21 made ARC builds just insane; Cuirass of the Falling Star + Thunderous Retort & Electric Armour (Artifact Mods) + Coldheart to maximize amplified uptime makes your Thunder Crash basically an instant boss kill in legend lost sectors.
Not to mention with the recent changes to Warlocks Void aspect Chaos Accelrerant which, used to only give one, now gives two fragment slots. Which provides an amazing opportunity to flesh out already great builds even further.

I have one question about the armor mod choices: why use arc siphon and not harmonic siphon? Harmonic costs only 1 power and the others 2 could be used for a different mod. What benefit does a elemental siphon have compared to a harmonic one?

What heavy and primary would you recommend using? I was thinking maybe a demo or auto loading holster rocket, and either a scout or smg depending on the difficulty

No matter how op this warlock exotic gets, I will not sacrifice fashion like that… I just can’t.
A good alternative I've found is Delicate Tomb. While it's not the best (it feels lacking sometimes), it totally works for lower tier content. Definitely not pvp friendly for me as I suck at pvp, but in nightfalls , at least it functions fairly well and performs nicely.
As a Warlock who's first exotic was Coldheart I approve
In pve I really like fallen sunstar so I can have a mini arc starfire build and throw like 6 to 8 pulse nades durring a damage phase lol
Since I don't have that piece, I use Getaway Artist gauntlets.

What stats would you prioritize for this build?
Resilience - discipline- recovery. I'd say in that order...for every class, any build.

I've been running an auto loading adrenaline junkie machine gun and it's been fantastic. Of course, I'm either running crown of tempest or fallen sun star since they recently deactivated vesper of radius.
