    Great Video! I would love to see "Part 1" explaining how to set up the audit trail list and audit messages. I have tried to set one up myself but the audit trail list is always blank.

      @calebking1520: I will try to post it soon. Maybe next week. On the "Explorer" tree on the left, under "System", if you go to "Startup", you will need to check the box for "Audit trail". Please let me know if it works for you. At the lower right corner of the video, you can also give me a "special thanks" to show your support to my channel if my videos, hints and tips are really usefully for what you are struggling on. Thank you for your support to my channel.

    @SYPHOANG Thank for your feedback .. we have many project in our site so we need to link the HMI group with server domain .. So to make the work easy for our tech they just add the user name in server and link it to the group /access live .. thank you

      @saadaldeenali3117: Thank you for your comment. I don't think it can be that easy because the PLC IP address is assigned in the HMI application before an .mer file is created. I think you can configure the communication path between the PLC and HMI in the HMI configuration screen. But it will not be that easy. I have never done it before. But that is not a bad idea. My advice is that whenever you work on an HMI or any kind of interface with any controller, communication configuration and testing are always the key. Good luck!

    Great video! Am I just missing part 1?

      @antmolincoln: Thank you for your support to my channel. Glad you noticed that. Actually I created part 2 for the hands-on experience on the finished HMI first but don't have time to do part 1 right now. Part 1 will be just the instructions on how to build the HMI application on FactoryTalk software. If you are interested in it, I will try to post it soon. Maybe next week.

    Is there any video about how to connect HMI user account to Server domain controller ?

    • @SYPHOANG
      @SYPHOANG  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @saadaldeenali3117: Unfortunately, I don't have it yet. What are you trying to do with "Server domain controller"?

    Hi. Can you tell why the timestamp in the runtime and the exported CSV file are different? And is there a way to align them? thank you.

    • @SYPHOANG
      @SYPHOANG  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @navarromichelleee: To align the timestamps on the exported CSV file with the HMI date & time, you first will need to select “Coordinated Universal Time” for the HMI’s time zone. Then, you will need to match the date and time in the selected time zone with your local date and time. It is in the HMI configuration screens. I think this should be my next video topic. You are not the first one brought this up. I just have not had time to create part 3 of this series. Thank you for your comments and your support to my channel.

    Hello. why is the time different in the exported file?

    • @SYPHOANG
      @SYPHOANG  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bastorodriguezjosealberto1665: Sorry for the late response. Thank you for your support to my channel. You have brought up some good points that I actually did not even notice. It might be the topic for my next video. But the short answer for your question now is that you need to ensure the "TIME ZONE" that is in "Terminal Settings"/"Time/Date/Regional Settings" need to be set for "(GMT) Coordinated Universal Time" (Second one from top from the long time zone selection list. By doing that, your HMI date and time shall be UTC same as what is exported out to the .CSV file. Good luck. Let me know if you have any more questions.

      Thank you.
      I am trying to solve that problem.
      What do the characters in the exported files mean?
      That's another question I have.

    • @SYPHOANG
      @SYPHOANG  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bastorodriguezjosealberto1665: The special characters on the right side of the table in the exported .csv files are
      absolutely normal. Per Rockwell Tech Support, it serves as the right border of the table. In other words, if there are special characters on the right side of the table, that will mean the table is complete and properly built. If there is no special characters on the right side of the table, that will mean the table is incomplete and abnormal. If the information I provided is helpful, would you mind hitting a "thanks" button at the lower right corner of the video to give me a super thanks for as low as $2.00 to show your support to my channel. Once again thank you for subscribing and your big support to my channel.
