They took away my baby boy's smile! 😢
It's also worth noting that Al is actually treated pretty well by Capella all things considered. Which is pretty much unheard of as she hates everyone and everything. But not Al. She was very complementary toward him during their encounters.

I loved the arc and "her" death was pretty tearing. However, every chapter i read i get quite frustrated with emilia and subaru's interaction. Subaru hesitating to advance and emilia not understanding a damn thing really gets on my nerves. Fellow web novel readers what do you think? Will it evolve in arc 9 or maybe 10?

Subaru has been the effective leader of the Emilia camp since Arc 4 so this would be a huge development for Emilia as both a leader and as a character . As for your worries, Keep in mind according to Tappei Arc 7/8 is the mid point of the story , So we have like 40 Volumes left of ReZero & I think its been set up that Emilia will get the bulk of her development & characterisation in this 2nd half of the story
@@kenken0175 A lot of the parts when characters got emotional the animation would be the screen sliding across a drawing rather than animated speaking. Also the lip syncing just wasnt very good. ReZero is my literal #1 anime and Ive been watching anime since I was 5 but Im being honest when I say the animation was subpar. If you want a specific example maybe take Subaru holding Crusch after he lands on the rooftop or the final frame with him and the whip as he yells at Gluttony. So basically, by no means terrible, just not as good as hoped.
Once Subaru finds out that Emilia's virginity is in danger, rescuing Rem will turn into a side quest!
