Listening to a raid lead that understands a fight is truly fascinating. The kind of mastery it takes to understand the entire fight and what every class should be doing is super impressive. Dude has mad respect from me (as do all good raid leads)
its really not that hard, imagine calling the same shit over and over again for 200 to 300 times during prog. i raid lead as well, the only hard part is learning new fights and micro calling on the fly when needed. But i can say it is time consuming as hell, there is a lot of bts planning and allocations because u got to learn mostly everything from every perspective in mythic raiding.
I am 100% convinced that raid leading gave me 80% of the leadership skills I have and half my professional success. You're leading 20 plus people with no incentive but what you can give them. Its more honest than politics.

That RL was amazing. Very calm and relaxed, gave good directions. He is exactly how a RL should be. And its great seeing Zack respectful to other leaders and raid groups
Had a raid lead like this in TBC and Wotlk back in the day. Once the dude quit I gave up after 6-7 guilds in Cata/Panda. You really don't know what you got intill its gone. Guys like this are tough to come across. Cheers man!

This raid leader is amazing! His instructions are easy to catch on and at the same time, SUPER calm when giving out reminders. I will never be a good raid lead as this guy.

I wanted to watch this video for the Zacks's accomplishment of defeating Sylvanas, then ended up staying for the Raid Leader!!! That guy is simply amazing. Remained calm throughout, knew where everyone was positioned, and what they were doing, made all the right calls beforehand, knew what calls to make, a true leader. Absolute legend! This type of raid leader makes players want to show up and raid.
Lotta dudes saying that they've never heard a raid leader like this...this is basically a standard for most real cutting edge guild. The leadership and calm raid leading is literally the bare minimum for any successful guild. If you're in a guild that isnt at least doing this you need to reconsider if that's where you want to be.

Whether Asmongold paid for it in gold or Guild Exposure (to advertise their guild on Illidan) nobody will know. Asmon had no idea about any of the mechanics and look at his damage. Literally the tank was catching him in damage done. The fact they gave him the power to kick people for "under-performing" is hilarious to me. 3. Why is he raiding with these guys and not his guild? Something happen with his raid team in his guild?
Was this actual prog or just a steamer carry? Because everyone I see in there is already a CE raider from different guilds. AND it drops 259 gear when they have over 100k hp means this was a season 4 non-fated run (this is a season 2 raid), aka as easy as you could possibly make it.

Pacing wise heroic is much worse than mythic, phase 2 is just horrible on heroic
