When exactly do you use aider and when cline? As you can use both with the same model i would love to see a comparison between cline and aider where which one is better than the other.

7:25 - On macOS we have more options beyond “nano” and “joe” and “vim.” We can also use “subl -w” or “zed -w” (for example) when certain text editors are installed. The “-w” flag tells them to block until the file is closed. No doubt similar options are available on Windows.
i really like aider due to its git revision history and how it handles very specific targeted commits , however i wish they would just make a webui or integrate into vscode like windsurf or copilot , as the cli is clunky to interact with , the editor is a step in right direction for large rich prompts .

Yep, need to get this added to the Aider docs. Pretty sure the VSCode example would have worked as well with the --wait flag added.
