HiI am currently senior in high school and most likely if I play basketball in college. I will play naia or d3. And as you said, From such small colleges you cannot earn enough money, and I will probably have to do another job besides basketball. Do you think it's worth it? I mean, do you think it would make more sense if I didn't play basketball at college, just study and then work, because I really love basketball, but going to practice every day tires me out and I don't enjoy it. And frankly, I don't want to work so hard and then not earn enough money. What are your thoughts on this?

If you are pursuing Overseas Basketball for money then I wouldn't pursue. Truth is, vast majority of players will settle into the $700 - $2,000 per month range. So the vast majority of players will need a side hustle to supplement that to have a suitable lifestyle - especially for small college players like us. Personally, I was completely driven by the love of the game and I made it work by having multiple side hustles and investing. My career changed around my entire life so I have no regrets!
Do you know the Asian import rules there ? (B3/b2)

@@JalenTaylor55 Yes bro - of course I remember you checking out those highlights. I just wasn't sure if it was the same name by coincidence lol. I'd check out a consulate and see if you can get the citizenship. You should definitely be able to through your father though.
@ I'm heading over to Japan from LA in July, and I'm 19 years old and an African American. I played in high school, and I was going to play in community college, but I ran into so much stuff during that time.

When are you heading over? And what's your experience level? Also - what is your nationality? Coach Kim is in the B3!
