I'd strongly recommend staying in school and building up your profile more before going overseas.

The league that would actually pay more than the 3rd-tier would be Liga Mendoza - a separate league that is unsanctioned by FIBA but pays more. You can expect $700 - $1,500 USD there.

Players and teams will gravitate to what's efficient. If you're a sucky 3 or 4pt shooter, jesus christ it's obvious you won't be shooting it.

@@xcalibar_249 they have a a draft for the PBA every year. There is also a development league there and a university system which is quite popular (UAAP)!

If you aren't a native, you can only be an import. You'd then be competing with other US players that couldn't make the NBA. If you have a Filipino parent, move to the PH in time for college, dominate the college league, and you'd be sure to get into the PBA.
