Keep in mind these are just some recommendations based on stuff that I have tested personally and have here in studio to show you. If you need more suggestions from a particular company or something just let me know in the comments. Also sorry about the weird flicker with my accent light it won't happen again.

Thanks for the video. Definitely made getting into this way less daunting, and was very welcoming to new players like me :)

For me, if I'm getting someone their first discs, Latitude-64 Pure, Fuse, and River. For younger or smaller players, thier Easy to Use line is amazing

Been playing for like 10-12 years now and still suck getting backhand distance. I ordered my first thrasher because of dgn . Maybe that would be a good video idea? Discs for people who've been playing a long time looking for distance ?

You should check out Overthrow Disc Golf's channel. Great teacher. Or watch some pro's doing clinics on TH-cam.

I'm confident recommending these to beginners - I'm not far past beginner state anyway ... Divergent Leviathan, Axiom Paradox, Daredevil Cariboo, and Dynamic Discs Deputy. And generally, any of the mid-mids because they will find use of them for years to come: Discraft Buzzz, Prodigy M4, ThoughtSpace Pathfinder, Innova Mako, Discmania md1, etc.

Still considering me a beginner. Fuse River Diamond from L64 Page fierce Fierce and Sol Leopard3 and my putter is set to Aviar pro. Firebird and Wave as sidearm weapons and drivers for BH are clearly Heat Basilisk (careful very! understable) but my fav driver that works with my lower arm speed driver is MVP Orbital. This one flips at 11 5 -4,5 1 and gets me distance. I am happy with 300 feet as an indicator😅. And a glitch to see ur true angles when throwing and to get warmed up is a must!

Ones I recommend are the Shark in G-Star or DX as this is a really good overall disc ad can do approach to midrange/driving putter and windy putter slot, The Dragon in DX if they are a less power player, The Valkyrie if higher power, then the Leopard for fairway, and last a putting putter that is more neutral then a 0, 2 like the Colt or a similar disc even the Magnet if the person seems like the type an odd rim disc will not mess up how they throw the disc or even a Rattler/Birdy if they came from a different disc sport background. The Dragon and Valkyrie are only for those that throw further with catch/ultimate and have played a bit before, otherwise stick to the 6 speed and under for the player. Maybe a Tee bird or a flatter toped Eagle for a windy driver if again they throw further or could throw further. Only discs I do not recommend are the for midrange to speed 8--9 for a 0,3 for last few numbers or past speed 9 for any player even if a stronger person who does either a sport that uses throwing muscles or a person who dose/did a different disc sport before disc golf but stay away from faster then Speed 6 if they do not have the power or know they would not at the time.

The problem with the Meteor for beginners is the awkward rim shape. Very shallow rims with a flat top seem to be the most comfortable for beginners.

I liked the older more puddle top Esp Meteors a lot.

Great info. I'm tired to see videos that mention only Innova or Discraft. Definitely I will try some of the Discmania and Latiude 64. Thank you

They def like hyzer releases in my experience if you want them to hold straight. Try to hit them with a little pop starting on a steep hyzer and see if that helps.

Good call. I really need a buzzz in the inventory for vids like this.

You can do a bunch with a Buzzz (or similar from other companies), a putter, and a little knowledge!

I think the Eye is a perfect disc for beginners. Dead straight when you throw it flat, but you can manipulate it on so many angles to make it do other things. I think I could keep only it in my bag for mids and make it work really well. The Radar is soooooo glidey. I love that mold.

i have found myself that meteor keeps its flight real long, even hitting trees and rough sand. there is somethin weird in its shape that makes it last. sadly i lost my esp meteor when it was becoming perfect, now i need use my 2021 tourseries that has weirdly lot end flight stability.
