I love this project. i would print blocks of my favorite short quotes/proverbs and such and glue them to the pages. I bet gluing printouts of photos would also work fabulously. super gift for any kid or adults up to the age of 40 or so (due to tendency to develop presbyopia).

I think the tiny grungy book could belong to a Fairy! It is just the right size, and it looks ancient! I think I could use an old brown paper bag, instead of Amazon package wrap. I don't shop online. What is that gold stuff that you used? Would gold paint work instead? I love the ancient look that you achieved by inking, and scrunching the paper. I'd like to give it a try! Hi Sadie, I have used the same magnet in this Friday Freebie video th-cam.com/video/PA6hUT9DTik/w-d-xo.html if you go to 11.30 in the video you can see the magnet that I used. I only used one magnet and a small metal washer on the other side. Hope that helps Hugs Gi x

I would love to have a go at producing the packaging paper for the fab book covers but can't find the leather cram here in the UK. There is one in a similar container with a sponge (Kaps neutral) on amazon UK- does brand matter? I don't want to buy it then find the paper is too waxy to be able to glue it. Any advice please?
