- This is a complete walk through tour of traveling musician, Charles of New Jersey. Charles explains how important this van has been to his life and what vanlife means to him.

Just like a yacht owner takes pride in his yacht , Charles has taken very good care of his van. As well as, given safety tips for keeping his van safe. In addition, the inventive shower tips are helpful.

The security bars he integrated into his "security system" are my favorite part of this build, the shower being second! [He DOES remind me of Henry Winkler, too!] His pride in this rig is well deserved. It is immaculate inside and out. Thanks for another East Coast tour!

New Jersey Outdoor Adventures Patrick seems to be a very patient person. You just let him speak and he seemed to be happy and proud of his van which I think is great! People can be happy and love their home even if it’s a van. He takes such good care of his home.
And dude also didn't cut off the interviewer. Both were so patient & respectful of one another..When ppl. Are so anxious and act in a big hurry....I cannot enjoy their exchange!

What a beauty. Charles was in his element sharing the ins and out of his van. He must have grown up in the 60's. He's very meticulous and passionate about his Coachman. 5* job taking care of this classic. 😊

I appreciate all of the craftsmanship in your van. My dad had a 1993 GMC vandura custom built,fiberglass top,solar powerboost on the roof, beautiful wooden cabinetry, back bench seat turned into queen size bed with a push of a button.

I have the exact same van. But with rims, AT tires, wood laminate floors, re wrapped seats, and fresh paint in the interior. We absolutely love it!!

This man has swagger. The van is flawless and immaculate. Love this is a 1998. That means this is built to last. He said "Custom Made....Beautiful" I love this man and he is clean like me. Immaculate, meticulous... I've performed in New York City Rock n Roll bands... "This is a really nice area to hang out" compliments Patrick. That guy basically says "I'm rich..." Bye. I REALLY enjoyed this

That shower bin is a good idea! He made me laugh when he explained the new vans are beautiful...but the shower space is scary...or something like that! 😁😂😂🥴 True...for taller or people who would feel claustrophobic in small spaces. His van is beautiful...very well taken care of! I am like him...organized and take good care of my stuff! Drives hubby crazy when we go camping with our Airstream Base Camp. Everything has its’s place. 🥰

Great idea, on security bars! It sure beats hotel rooms, and checking for bed bugs and carrying disinfectants; because I'm sure house keeping isn't the greatest! In testing guy, my cousin, on occasion was back up base guitar player, but for country music.

Wow wow wow.... i will be truly honest with you, and of course naturaly we have here the framework for our implementation of our little vacuum and control factor relative to temperature and you will agree that it's a wonderful thing. And to be a little more meticulous with in my refrigerator is unplugged. And my wonderful water containment system is of course a duality thing because of course my fresh water framework does not work and how wonderful is that...... so what you think....

Funny. I’m a traveling nurse myself & wanting to live this lifestyle because quite frankly I’m tired of living out of hotels & paying 400-600 a week! I could be putting that into a van.
Good idea on the shower which could be used in any van...especially by using a limited container (+/-2 gallon) you wouldn't have to worry about overfilling the box to where it would be too heavy to dump. Also no water heater needed. In his case I assume he just empties it into the bath or out the back door if camping. Beautiful older van and I agree with him that the older ones are better built that many of the newer vans.
