Another nice feature is : In addition, in Preset-Mode you can also use a standard double footswitch to switch between CLEAN and OVERDRIVE, giving you an additional CLEAN channel when the three internal footswitches are assigned with VINTAGE, CLASSIC and MODERN. The second button on a double footswitch turns the BOOST off if it was originally selected in the Preset, or on if it wasn’t. In this way, I have all four Channels in my mini setup directly available!

I recently picked up an Iridium, coincidentally all my levels and tone controls are almost exactly same as yours in this video. It’s definitely a fantastic straight ahead rock amp, that can do waaaay more than metal. Keep up the bluguitar videos!
That sound is great, well all the sounds are. It is amazing the quality you get from the Iridium. After watching maaaaaaany videos of this amp, I cannot imagine why this is not the future of amplification. A bit expensive, even though looking at the price of a Marshall head and speaker cab would be more expensive, but equal to or better than anything else on the market. I don’t play much anymore but if I did this would be my route.🤐
That’s it. After putting off buying the Amp1 Iridium for awhile I’ve just bought one for rehearsals and cover bands gigs. I’m usually an EVH amp user and never clicked with modellers for some reason, option paralysis I think. I tried the Amp1 a few years back and though yes! It’s simple, it’s loud, versatile and light. And sounded great. The Iridium will be well used. Gotta new subscriber 🤘👍

@@Dan_Ranger You will be pleased. I've now tried it thru two different cabs - mesa recto with v30s and fryette 4x12 with P50s. Both sound great but different. The P50s are a little more rock and roll where the v30s feel more spikey for metal.
@@PaulLembo I’ve been using EVH heads with Zilla 2x12’s with v30 creamback mix. The Amp1 I tried last summer was very good. The lack of gigs put me off but things now looking up. The Killertones video sold me as Jason has a similar style to mine. Cheers mate 👍

Do you have a toturial on how to set up BOSS GT 1000 as an channelswitcher for the AMP1? And maybe have an amp on in GT 1000 and run it stereo with the AMP1? Is that possible?

I saved the presets (with double footswitch ) so that in every of my four presets i have reverb on, i don't use it normally, so i keep it on zero. but if i want, i just turn it to whatever..

Does the preset mode only save the channels chosen on the chosen footswitch or also more settings like gain , volume, eq ?
Love your approach and playing. Do you find the Iridium able to handle blues tones well, as in gaining and boosting the clean chanel?

My effects are being run from a BOSS tube amp expander, this is controlled by midi from the REMOTE1. There’s another vid being made about that part.
