I like the potential of the channel. Lose the VGG imitation and do your own thing. No need to try and copy another. Just be you.
Exactly
Yes! Be urself .. I noticed that too. He almost said (Help me understand turning the key) 😂😂
Yea your own thing woukd make a better watch
how do you know that isnt how he talks normally
Yea fool
You know I love this because this is different most people do 90s cars or down so the fact that he actually did like an early 2000s is really neat in my opinion you don’t see that a lot
I am just trying to do anything I can get my hands on that I think will be a cool one to get going! If I don't like the car, I'm not going to mess with it.
I completely love you videos and sense of humor, keep it up dude, amazing work.
I had an injector hanging open on a 6.0 resurrection I did last year too...must be a common thing when they sit for a while...
Im so glad your wife gave you permission to do these videos. Its the path that a real man would take.
On a more serious note i did like the video
😂😂 thanks man.
Nice video, honestly that truck looks like it's in decent condition and a good project.
I just picked up an 01 2500hd 6.0, came across this video.
I have no clue what the heck I'm doing or where to start in making it long-trip ready, but I enjoyed your diagnostic and problem solving skills. I learned a bit about injectors, spark plugs, wires, heck even the trip to a junk yard was nice. I'm trying to escape the city and get out of my comfort zone, you contributed to aiding me on that goal indeed
I’m glad to hear that man. If you every need any help feel free to shoot me an email and I’ll do my best to help! I appreciate the words of encouragement.
I’m going tomorrow to pick one up that needs the rear end fixed, from Alexandria LA
Bad ass video man we need a part 2…
The wiggle is known across general motors, we call it the good ol' GM Wiggle!
ahh the good ol gm wiggle
subscribed and it looks so nice at the end on new wheels
Love the video man, keep up the hard work!
Awesome video Tyler. Heading to see one of these tomorrow. Good video to see.
Thanks for watching!
Hi! Loved the video! I'd probably use some heet in the tank the next time you fill up to try to help clear the lines out. Can't wait to see the next video!
How bad do you want to be VGG?
Him: YES
Went to comments to find this lmao
First time here. I like your personality you got yourself a new subscriber
That will be a nice budget build great video keep up the great job
Good! I'm Happy For You! Merry Christmas!
I love that gen.
You have got yourself a subscriber. Loved the video

I appreciate that! New video out now!
SUPER underrated content creator, your content is fun and informative. You’ll blow someday soon I feel it 🙂
I appreciate that! I just really started hammering away on the channel. Thanks for the encouragement brother!
Thank you man, i really love this
Great job🎉
Hell yea man, hope this all works out for you!
I hope so too
I really enjoyed the video man
Love this channel already please carry on but do it your own style
You saved a beautiful silverado truck
Good job on the video man
I think it's always good to check your oil and check all your fluids before you even get started and trying to start something like that up especially after it's been setting for so long cuz it gives you more of an idea what could be wrong with it and what to really look forward to when you're going and getting into it
I check the fluids on everything before we do anything. I just didn't show it on this video.
I love videos like this. New subscriber here.
I own a 2001 suburban 2500 with the 8.1 vortec. It currently has about 153k
I love those things, but they’re getting hard to find now! Are used to sell GM cars and trucks. If I remember right those eight ones from the factory use about a quart oil every thousand miles and that’s considered normal. Great motors, though they are thirsty, they can pull the house down.
Sick video, lots of potential for that truck for sure.
You’ve earned a new subscriber. Keep up the great work! My only complaint is to try and render these vids in at least 720p and these videos will look flawless!
Thanks for the input. I’m still figuring this whole TH-cam thing out. I’ll start uploading in higher definition.
I thought I was the only one to notice it was in low quality. But good content.
I’m from LV, KS! You just earned yourself a subscriber! Good work.
What’s up man I live in Miami county Kansas! Thanks for the support.
@@saturnspeedshop Hell yeah! I love videos like the ones you are creating! Keep up the hard work and you will go far! I just bought a 2005 Saturn Ion that has been sitting for 5 years. I found your video looking for tips on how to get the car running again lmao!
@@aultima22 heck ya man! Glad you found me. I’m gonna do some more on older fuel injected cars in the future. Just have to find them. Lol.
i like watching these
Good job bro
I noticed this truck has a transmission temperature gage. Also what is with two batteries? Usually is with a diesel engine being it requires two batteries unless it was used for towing a trailer. The single battery is on the left side of the truck.
Excelente job.
I like the video, I have a fair share of older gm trucks in the family so the sights of that truck are nothing new to me lol. Just maybe one suggestion I have would be to see if you can upload your videos in a higher resolution, 720p would be a big help in increasing the detail of your videos.
Good job
You gained a new sub
One thing I don't understand why someone want to let a 2001chevrolet Silverado truck rot?
i just bought a 99 that sat for 5 years replacing all brake lines and all fuel lines and all brakes rotors and calipers. just to get it rolling and it runs.
I thought the video was over when you said thanks for watching 😂😂
That compartment you opened sayin dang it no radio....well thats just simply a compartment, the radio is up higher on the dash in the bezel...
The spot for the radio was also empty. He was just commenting that it had a CD player, but no radio.
🎉 cool 😎 video
I like the videos man you got a new subscriber, keep ‘em goin
Thanks for the sub! It’s nice to know you guys actually like what I’m doing.
Like the content. Going to give ya a sub. But pls drop the imitation VGG stuff . U don't need it
Good thing you can take the fuel rail individual apart mine in my car is one whole piece
Thats a 1500 front end on it but the rear leaf spring pack did look like a HD setup
the good ole chevy key jiggle.
If you look at the voltage meter you are only getting around 10 amps you need about 15 to get it cranking smooth
I was wrong 😂
If the key is still stuck, try wiggling the steering wheel. Mine does that a little and that usually works.
Vice grips are the best multi tool
That’s a 2500 non HD I’ve got one too they are good trucks only difference in them is a 14 bolt 9.5 sf and over the rear axle it goes down from an 8” frame rail to a 6” or 6.5” idk which one but good trucks for sure
Good to know. I was just kind of guessing. I know a little bit about a lot of different stuff. Definitely not an expert on anything. One of the reasons I like making the videos is the knowledge I get from everyone in the comments! The car community is the best because everyone shares the knowledge they have.
@@saturnspeedshop these trucks can last forever as long as you keep the fluids good and dont let the frame rot
It could be a 1500 HD that GM built for a few years. IDK
@@franklinbrown8417 2500 non HD and 1500HD are mechanically identical but this is definitely a 2500 non hd because the 1500hd was only in a crew cab short bed
@@trucks_n_tractors_6335 thanks!!
Oooff this reminds me of one of my adventures there was a 99 Chevy an I got a shit tons of parts from it an the guy jus wanted it gone an if I could get that done he let me have anything off it
Based off the hood and grill it looks like a heavy half
I do not consider Kansas in the midwest nor rust belt. Kansas and other plain states use sand and ashes for roads. Not salt that gets mined from out under the great lakes.
Get it road worthy!
The right way to put down a good old truck. Sucks it’s missing some things though.
I would like to see a video of this truck getting out of he’s hold under her own power
Wondering now how the trucks comn along
1500 look at the short bumper pad
Dude I bought this truck last winter from some dump lot in kc for parts. The motor trans and t case were gone but robbed interior to go in my buddy’s truck.
The guy who bought the truck sent me an email asking about what all I did. I was like it’s all in the video. I never drove it lol
@@saturnspeedshop that truck was rough and the paint job was atrocious lol
I liked your video but please stop acting like VGG
it’s a 99 light duty 2500. the 3rd door was only 99. and it’s a non HD or light duty having the same front end as a gals ton. the frame isn’t as big as an HD 2500
The way it's just got left on the ground like that... How the hell ya gonna do that not even blocks or anything
This guy definitely watches vice grip garage he says “we’re gonna do the right thing” lol
i would love to buy this truck for a project is it for sale?
Dump gas down the intake that goes to the fuel system so it fires up real fast
Looks like a tweeker special
hey, what camera do you use?
It is all shot on IPhone. I don’t really like cameras.
cool dude, now show us a video of you restoring that bad boy haha
That stuff is coming in the future. We’re waiting on some sponsors right now. Cool stuff coming in the future!
@@saturnspeedshop nice, cant wait
I like it. What’s the plan for the truck?
I got it running. Owner sold it as a parts truck to a guy who needs a heart for his drift car. Rest is being parted out.
The Great Value Vice Grip Garage
Chevy Silverado 2500 hd 2002 6.0 i have one
you forgot the battery she needs to be a special one with go handles...
Part 2
Pt. 2?
The squares in the background 😢
Is that really a 2500? Mine looks nothing like that under the hood or in the interior.
Where you get that old Dominion sweatshirt?
I found it at a garage sale for a dollar. Ballin lol
You managed to wake a truck from her coma
Just needs some repairs and maybe an engine replacement and she can ride like the wind again
I have been wondering, what happened to the truck after this video?
Owner sold it. I know the motor was pulled to be put in something else. I don’t know where the truck went.
It’s a 1500hd, the 2500 have a raised hood
Definitely seems like he's a fan of VGG...
that’s definitely a 99 not a 01. The 99s only have 3 doors that open and the 99s 2500s didn’t have the HD grille
Trying to ride the VGG train
Derick is that you???😂
I think its a 99, atleast the 1500s I know for a fact unsure about the older "2500" non Hd models but its a 3 door, so its probably a 99, everything after 99 00-06 extended cabs were 4 door
Thought full throttle was clear flood mode on this year Chevys
Couldn’t hurt it. Injector is already stuck open 😂
More go juice !!!!
@@saturnspeedshop no when the pedal is all the way down it won't start. Its a safety hazzard
This is just a repair video. An LS sitting for 6 yrs, will it run? Bruh. Thing just need a battery and it'll go.
Why not put some tires and wheels on the truck to help lift the truck up off the ground?
GMT800 WITH THREATENING AURAS HOSS!
Would it hurt my injectors to run some cleaner through it
No. It’s actually a really good idea. I like Seafoam or Berryman.
this truck song marketplace for sale for $500
M6 mom has a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado it's a z71
Whats up with the Blazer in the background? it for sale? haha
Possibly. Send me an email. I’ll find out for you.
It’s not gonna start if you have the pedal shoved into the floor that cuts the fuel off
It started. lol.
Someone parked it cause there was something major wrong with it you find that out soon
1500HD
2500
1500hd were 2003-07. De-rated 3/4 ( for insurance) and rival the mega cab dodge 1500 trucks.
@@wyattgardner3552 I got a 2002 1500hd
wouldnt be so bad if you didnt try so hard to be like vice grip garage,
