If they were in that much debt you'd think they would of sold everything in there down to the ink pens. It's a shame when a rural area looses a hospital, the closet to my house is like 30 mins since ours closed.
Always bring a dosimeter when exploring abandoned medical buildings with X-ray equipment. The unmaintained equipment may be leaking radioactive isotopes.
X-ray tubes only produce radiation when they are powered. Could there be radioactive isotopes used for imaging purposes in a hospital? Yes but they are not left out in the open.
That last room was probably used for compounding and preparing chemo treatments. That wasn't an autopsy table in there. The autopsy table was in the morgue. They wouldn't have one anywhere else.
This place was super clean not even one tag anywhere....all the things left there....that hospital had huge OR rooms & she took a wonderful shot when she was light painting very cool guys
This should have gone into receivership and the equipment sold to recover some debt. It's criminal to just leave everything like that. I'm sure there are plenty of poorer countries who could benefit from this equipment, beds etc and donating if not sold. It's a disgusting waste.
This happens at almost every abandoned hospital. Not sure how you would go about donating this to other countries. The removal, packaging, shipping and all that seems to be a major issue and probably why it doesn't happen. Thats something the government would have to pay for and we all know that isn't going to happen.
Wow absolutely bizarre. It looks like all went home after a shift and just never came back. All the equipment has to be tied up in financial liability. Seems like there would have least been an auction or something.
It's pretty crazy when you see how many hospitals are empty. During the pandemic there were constantly too few hospital places and over there the clinics are empty. Don't know what else to say about that.
As a Nurse this makes me so angry. There are many, many rural healthcare facilities that could use this equipment. It’s criminal to let it sit there and end up in a landfill. Go USA
Thanks for watching. This was in a very small town down south. They could've made a good amount of money if they held an auction for this equipment before closing.
sadly, it won't stay in that shape long if someone here names the exact location which I hope they do not because the moment people explore abandoned structures and call out the location...it means complete destruction and death for the site...faster than nature would destroy it.
Yes they could be. Some abandoned hospitals did open as covid testing centers. Most of them are not being used again since the covid test are easily accessible now.
Covid has been used as a weapon against the American people. Trump built hospitals, sent hospital ships and tons of equipment. They were never used. Now small hospitals are closing that should be serving the public. Democrats are destroying the medical industry.
It's so crazy that they leave machines worth that much when a building closes down. I know it cost a lot to remove them, and probably hard to sell, but they usually don't even attempt it.
what idiot abandons a building with the SEVERS STILL RUNNING! thats a hacking hazard as well as a fire hazard, you could see all the red lights on, which means the system already has failiures.
I love abandoned hospitals!!! So cool to see all the machines that they used!!!

Debt is repaid by the tax payer
they could have sold the equipment. Whole thing stinks of poor management. I wonder if this was some cash grab and somone pocketed the cash?
@@lucapuzzoli8363yup, but you still have to pay for your own healthcare :)
The waste of equipment is shocking
waste of money really
That Equipment to me looks way out of date no way today's hospitals would use them.

So much of these supplies/equipment can be used in county hospitals . PPE supplies would have really come in handy during the pandemic
everything is still there, no garbage, no destruction. they could reopen it tomorrow.. crazy

One of the medical equipment setups had a "Radio Shack" monitor. This is not the Mayo Clinic.

All that abandoned hospital equipment plus the power is on
The equipment in there should have been sent out to other hospitals such a ridiculous waste.

It's sad this happens all over our country. Been in 100s of abandoned hospitals and it usually looks like this.
I agree!
Those MRI scan machines are worth 100k lol
Very cool video. Why not sale or give away all the equipment.
Thanks for watching. This was in a very small town down south. They could've made a good amount of money if they held an auction for this equipment before closing.
You should try to check out the abandoned town of Tranquille, Canada. That's some wild shit!
I've yet to explore Canada but it will happen in 2022! Gonna do some research on that town now. Thanks for watching our videos!
This is one of the results of the Corporate State and privatization of healthcare
Obama Care killed this hospital!
Spooky.. looks like a 3rd world country. Yikes.

So much stuff left behind. Why didn't they at least donate most of this stuff to a hospital that could use it?
WHERE IS THE MORGUE
What the heck! Did everybody just get up and walk away in a day?
Thats what it seems like!
@@abandonedcentral Also, I am sorry for your loss. Condolences.
