Hospitals are establishments for healing & will tuck death well into the bowels of their buildings-death is bad for business. As an ex mortician, I've found in many cases hospital morgues situated towards the rear of buildings & near loading docks- surprisingly near their kitchens. Easy access is needed to load bodies into vans, so where there is a ramp, a morgue is usually somewhere nearby. Please use caution whenever visiting these outdated buildings. Asbestos is everywhere & was heavily used as insulation in older buildings. Those exposed to it were later diagnosed with potentially deadly Mesothelioma.
Wow you guys are brave to walk thru an abandoned building. I'd be scared out my booty if I was there lol. Thanks for showing us what these places look like after it's been used and abandoned.
Love this explore! Your camera work, narrative, and discreet historical research are top notch! Glad you found and were able to access the morgue; the auditorium and Xray were cool, too. (It's clearly your thumbnail; but being so into the video, I forgot, and was kinda bummed when you said you didn't think the Xrays still existed 🙄😁) Thanks for sharing, this is an excellent video! 👍🙂
My cousin works on X-ray equipment he said that's an old picker 625 there pretty reliable..made in the 70's and 80's he said it would probably fire up and work that was to X-ray your bladder and uriern track and kidneys ..wow nice find
That stuff should be in a museum ❤
I miss the staging 😅❤but still a real gem of a find ❤❤❤
I enjoyed this exploration. The history of the hospital was fascinating.

Cool place! Thank you for sharing!❤
The wierd door handle is a psychiatric patient room. I work in a hospital and our ER department has a room with a door handle like that.
Dont just throw those reports
Have respect
All of the equipment! Wow, we certainly are a wasteful society. Politicians spending our hard earned money.
super ;)

Hi Cackalackey neighbors of the South! 🙂
Touching stuff in the morgue with your hands 😶
Love your voice, you really need to get an agent and start doing voice over work.
Wow, thank you! Maybe one day haha. Have you seen our Detroit Documentary yet?
