    Omg thank you for this video! I was trying different types of headsets and the most important thing to my is comfortable. I was a little cautious at first but I really appreciate your time in making these videos!

    A few suggestions. Connect it to a Yealink SIP Desk phone and make a call to another phone then record that audio, as the ip phones have their own levels and codecs that come into play which won't come through in a direct PC recording. Also, if you could list which series of Yealink Phones this is compatible with that would be a bonus (ie is it good for the T4x series or only the T5 series and above. Other than that it's great to have an in depth of review rather than just an unboxing, good job.

      I bet it probably works with any yealink phone. The reason I assume that is because I bought some completely random 3rd party USB Bluetooth dongles for my T42s, and then preceded to use a 3rd party wireless headsets and it all worked perfectly.

      Thanks for your business and we're happy to know you're liking the headset! To switch between audio sources, you would dock the headset in the charging base then in your call software you would change your audio device to whichever other audio device you'd prefer. I am a receptionist and I love this headset...except for one thing. I do not need the base to ring. Is there a way to mute it? I've been in the App settings, Device Settings, Base Ringtone Volume and set it to 0. It still rings. What am I doing wrong?

    • @HeadsetAdvisor
      @HeadsetAdvisor  ปีที่แล้ว

      As of right now from what we're aware of there's no way to disable this feature, but from what we hear Yealink is working on a firmware update to fix this. In the meantime, you could use some sort of tape or anything that you could place on the speaker to muffle the ringing.

    • @tK10643
      @tK10643 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, there is a way to get the base to stop ringing. That is the only feature I don't like with this headset and I don't know why it comes enabled. Yealink should make this feature disabled and only enable it if you want the base to ring. You need to contact your IT or Phone System vendor and they can go into the Yealink portal and disable that feature.

      I wouldn't go that far to say it's a rip off from the 440, but it would be fair to say there's a couple of similarities. That being said, everything from the earpiece, design, charging base functionality is all unique and not the same as the 440.

      @@HeadsetAdvisor Well, they both come with ear tips, both come with headbands for over the head, and behind the head. The actual unit itself is almost identical in shape and design. They both have a charging base that the the unit clips into, in *exactly* the same fashion. The only difference I can see is that the Savi 440 charging stand is much smaller, doesn't have buttons. Oh, and the Savi 440, was released 12 years ago with DECT.
