What do you guys think? Do you think this is what future desk phones will look like? Let me know in the comments below. 👍

Sounds like it's not going to appeal to many...I'll never touch it. Thanks for the honest opinion and review.

When I connect this thing directly to my PC, it has such an echo and tin sound. When I pair with Bluetooth, it sounds great, but I lose all the functionality of the interaction with teams. Any experience with solving this issue?

I know it might be impossible to answer but do you think it’ll work with my Grasshopper VoIP service? I use a desktop app on my computer

That i'm honestly not sure of. Most of our customers avoid Grasshopper like the plague, so I don't really know what will and won't work with Grasshopper to be totally honest and I can't speak on it's current hardware limitations unfortunately.

Can this headset be used with mobile calls (using reg phone calls or teams calls) on the go away from the dock and laptop?

Yesterday exactly this model arrived home. To respond to your questions:
      1. You can connect via bluetooth your phones to the docker. Tested on iOS and Android devices.
      2. The distance is adjustable: short, medium, long distance.
      3. The docker needs to be PERMANTLY connected (at least via bluetooth) with the laptop/phone in order to use the headphones.
If you try a long push on the round button on the headphones, it enters in some kind of pairing mode but only for the docker (base). Tried in the pairing mode to connect to Android/iOS, but without any success. This really sucks. It's a totally turn off...The Yealink should create an app for iOS/Android to allow you to connect the headphones standalone. Actually there is an app, but with 4 type of headset: BH72, BH76, BH76 PLUS, BH71.

If the Avaya IP phone in question supports either USB headset connectivity or Bluetooth, YES I believe it should work.
