*Altay (Golden Mountain)*
It is named in honor of Army General Fahrettin Altay who commanded the 5th Cavalry Corps in the Turkish War of Independence. The surname Altay means high mountain or golden mountain, which is also how the Altai Mountains got their name, in fact the Turkish word for gold is "altın"
*Ejder Yalçın (Dragon Rugged)*
It's an armoured combat vehicle used against the PKK, Ejder or Ejderha means Dragon
