Another way is to play it because (at least I heard) it's decent now, and it's not hard to enjoy good things

He wants a New Modern Warfare Battlefield with ALL the qualities BF1 had/has.. like great atmosphere/immersion, good maps, good infantryxvehicle balancing, good music, great visuals etc.
Wish I could travel back and play this game at its peak again. It was so fun getting hyped for DLC, playing white box maps on CTE, discovering easter eggs and learning about WW1.

If they have the developers that actually know how to utilize the frostbite engine and they can capture this type of immersion and game Flow in the next BF title..... Wow. It would legit crush cod. It would. But I'm very concerned they don't have the talent anymore OR the leadership. I hope they do. I hope Vince can really hit a massive home run. Other wise it's GG and goodnight for the franchise.
I think BF can and could not crash COD. COD is a casual corner shooter while BF is all about the squads and team work. They are different games. Many of the casual COD players, sweats and farmers would and will never understand why BF is good or how it works. At least based on people I know.
I remember the night I fell in love with this game. I was running around on St. Quentin Scar hearing my avatar's squishy steps in the mud with a Zeppelin overhead, popping dudes with the Mondrogon Storm. This series has fallen since...

I don’t know what was so unique about this game’s development, but BF1 is truly the most immersive shooter I’ve ever played. The graphics, the sounds. It really was next level, and in my opinion no shooter has come close since.
In the OG days when all I had was my phone's hotspot for internet and my new Xbox One, and it was the most beautiful game I had ever played for it's time. The war stories were fun parterned with amazing graphics and story telling. Always will think this game was underrated. Also early congrats on 4 million subs, Jack!

Just Imagine if BFV's Live support wasn't cancelled and we got something like this for Norway or the Pacific with Player Controlled Cruisers and Destroyers
Ive had some epic battles on this map tremendous stuff Jackfrags Those K-bullets are amazing, I've destroyed many vehicles with it when combined with the Light Anti Tank nade which every class can get.
I was so happy when they announced this last dlc content pack. I had bought the full package and had kinda stopped playing the game, but this brought me back from my new pc to my Xbox and I thoroughly enjoyed it
As strictly an infantry player, I never really enjoyed playing on this map. However, even I can see what they intention was and what they were going for. This type of naval warfare was pretty incredible even if it wasn't my personal preference. You can say that about literally every map in BF1. It had everything, meat grinders like Argonne and Fort, sniper havens like Galicia or Sinai, tank heavy maps like Soisson, naval maps like Heligoland or Zebrugge, urban maps like Amien or Prise. This game had it all. Something for everyone.
Heligoland Bight will always be my favourite Battlefield map ever, the constant warships were amazing after years of them just being background set dressing, took combined arms gameplay to the next level. I don’t care what people say about scoring being anymore difficult as an infantry player on this, the insane fun takes precedence. I really hope if they return to naval again it’s on this scale rather than past games that just had infantry maps with gunboats sailing around
BF1 was underrated by so many TH-camr's at the time simply because of 'random bullet deviation' and the 'grenade spam' but honestly, one of the best FPS of recent years and it still holds up today. Visually stunning and so full of atmosphere!
I love how a good portion of this match just became BF1 tourism lol. I do that a lot in this game. Just wander around enjoying the visuals and atmosphere.
I discovered last week that there are loads of turning tides only servers in EU in this game, and so I played so many matches of Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bight then.
The beauty and atmosphere of this BF is unmatched.

Same! Been playing it non stop on PC. Playing in 1440p with NVIDIA filters, the game looks terrific. BF1 is a masterpiece.

BF1 operations were some of the most fun I'd ever had playing multiplayer.
The "please stop that" had me in stitches.
