This guide is so necessary! I can’t believe no one is talking about how absurdly complex this game is to navigate. I went from the first two bosses to Messmer, and then basically hit the last boss missing more than half the game. I was very disappointed that I experienced the game that way.
Second playthrough will be awesome for you then! I usually go in blind with fromsoft games for that first experience, but then I like following FightinCowboy's walkthroughs to make sure I don't miss anything. He's already churned out a lot of walkthroughs for this DLC.

@neptune1330 100% false the dlc scales with you and they are waaayyyy harder the farther up in ng+ you are. I'm on ng+6 with my blessing at 15 I think and can still get like 2 shotted from trash enemies

i was honestly just trying to find how to start the dlc but after finding this, it really helped my playthrough, especially because this one is spoiler free
i reached messmer and headed towards the tree very early on the game. however early just dont burn the tree just yet. you will still be able to complete pretty much all the npc quests.

Great video, was following the steps to orientate my self in the right direction and at 5:48 I figured it would be just like in the video in that room so I was just strolling along enjoying the sights then before I know it I got clapped and everything went dark ( I got my revenge right after )

@@gregsimard-ol1hr just killed him, took me 2 weeks. I tried 99% of my runs with guts build, but i ended having to rebirth and use impenetrable thorns + maternal staff unfortunately

Yeah so get this… my game bugged out and Radahn died before I even entered his boss arena. I’m guessing the map didn’t load and he fell through it. Cause as soon as I exited the lift and walked up the stairs, he died and I got the remembrance. I got the grace in his arena, saw the cutscene, like he’s just straight up fucken dead right now.
@@CERTIFIEDWINTERARC i accidentally went to ng+3 halfway through the dlc forgetting it resets dlc progress too and it took me 2 days just go get back to him
Make sure you do all the questlines before going to the main boss or even after the first part of the game you can miss out on npcs unless I just missed something entirely otherwise this was great thanks I’d just start it out with hey if you progress a certain amount even a little bit you can’t do certain npcs imma suggestion look up the questlines first then do this
Is a good guide but when u go into the dark keep u have a big story decision to make or should when u go into here. I explored alot before coming here. But u should have talked to someone an decide who to side with at this point. I don't see this in the video at all 5:45.... ?
There is a boss that should be done before the last boss btw, i'm not gonna spoil the boss but they give you a rune to help with the last boss. Yes you have all those summons to help but that rune can be a lifesaver. Every little bit helps. Good vid tho!
I'm at the last 2 boss areas and getting 1 or 2 shotted by trash mobs. I have 11 scadutree buffs which means my stats are boosted permanently I do 44% increase damage and I take 22% reduced damage at level 215 with 60 Vigor. Using damage reduction talisman on top of it all. It's bad enough the traps and surprise/hidden attacks kill you instantly but I feel when you dump 60 points in vigor you should not be 1 shotted by trash mobs because those points are huge investment. In my opinion don't go past 40 vigor and use the extra 20 points elsewhere because high vigor makes no difference.

You should have mentioned progressing those two npcs quests alone locks you out of several other npc quests.. and loses really good rewards
