Thanks! It's a custom chassis made with spare parts i had. Axles don't really have a name, some people call that Komodo Axle, i found them on ebay as "Tamiya replacement axles".
@@QuadDamageFPV take your time and go step by step, once you know how to level the print bed and what surface is better for adhesion you can print small parts then learn slicer settings and try bigger parts.
@@Meuh974 Thanks, so far I have used PLA and TPU - with varying results. Bed-levelling was easy enough and calibration prints have been satisfactory - with PLA. I have used CURA and Creality's slicer - but strangely the nozzle heat settings don't seem to show up correctly once transferred to the Ender 3 Pro - so I'm not sure what's going on there. I have had to tune the heat manually. Maybe I have missed something obvious... TPU started off well, printing GoPro mount for a freestyle quadcopter - but by the end of the print, it was a little messy. Despite this - the GoPro session fits fine and I may actually use it. Subsequent TPU prints were less satisfactory - I tried an octopus - but it was a terrible fail - so I went back to PLA again. I think bed adhesion was an issue (retraction was set to off, 210c noz and 60-70c for the bed).
The chassis is a mix of different parts from different brands, it's not so relevant. The unimog body could be adapted on most of the 1/10 scale chassis out there, but that needs some work to make everything fits.
It looks awesome, I just have one question. I am currently printing it and noticed the unimog stickers on your pictures. How did you make them/where did you order them?

Hi, my chassis is made of spare parts and custom parts. I took Tamiya cr01 rail frame and I extended them. Gearbox is from Rc4wd, noname axles from Ebay, and homemade parts.
@@Meuh974 Dear Mr Meuh974, thank you very much for this information. There is one more request I would like to request, if it is possible; can you give me a price if you 3 D print me the Whole body of this Unimog plus the plus the Bed, becuase even I buy the STI File and a printer it will be veery hard for me to operate . I am not really a computer literate, that is if you have the time. Thanbk you very much again, God Bless.
I just can't send prints, it's too much work and shipping cost would be way too expensive. By the way my files are free, you can ask someone or use an online printing service.
Hello friend, I'm building this Unimog, I would like to thank you for making the file available, soon I will put it on the channel, and I will definitely tag you, it was very good, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

Hello, I also write you on thingiverse. Thank you for sharing your model. I need cab unpaired. I will make just cabinet from metal by using laser cutting machine.

That is a beautiful model. I am also new to 3Dprinting, but am looking forward to trying it.
Nice build man ! Will try this one on a old chassis I have. Thanks for sharing !
Amazing.i want to make rc unimog with chassis from wpl b24.can i change the dimensions of the cab so it can fit to chassis?please help
You can resize it in your slicer software
Absolutely amazing, even though I don't have a 3D printer I love the fact you have put the links in your description mate. You are very talented 👍😎👍
Thanks! I prefer to share my work with everyone ;)
Maintenant je dois me procurer une 3D, merci énormément pour ce beau Mog, bien fait !!!
Very impressive, can you give details of the chassis and axles? Is the PLA strong enough to handle the occasional knock or roll?
👍

Avoid PLA, it deforms quickly on sunlight, try PETG or ABS. It's pretty strong, parts are thick enough to take some roll.
@@Meuh974 thank you, just starting out with 3d printing and it's all still new, mysterious and exciting. I'll have to stock up on materials.

Me and my stepson found your files for this amazing truck on Thingiverse, it's now in the making 😁👍.
I hope you will have fun with it, I still have to complete the instructions about the parts assembly.
Amazing work and thank you so much for sharing!!
Hi, is it possible to get the cadfiles of the model. I will design my own double cab version of the 5023.
Thanks a lot
Cool! Is there more information on the build and what chassis is used?
The chassis is a mix of different parts from different brands, it's not so relevant. The unimog body could be adapted on most of the 1/10 scale chassis out there, but that needs some work to make everything fits.
Could you show the lower part of the Unimog and how you have it anchored?
Thanks for sharing the files for free. do you have the details on how to assemble the support for the truck bed?
Thanks for the comment. I'm planning to make a more detailled video about the whole truck.
amazing work 👍👍👍
Thank you! :)

first of all, tkz for the sharing! we need more ppl like u! one question, i want to fit that on a TRX4, u think it will fit? thkz ! great job
Thanks for the kind comment 🙂 I think it should fit with no problem on a TRX4. You will have to build your own body mounts, that's all.
Hello this is a good print. I have a question is this a traxxas trx4.
Thanks. It's not a trx4, It's a chassis I have made with random parts.

I just got my Traxxas Landrover Defender. Is it possible to use your Unimog with that chassis?
What kind of plastic did you use for printing? Are you going to paint it?
It's printed in ABS. And it's painted white.
Very realistic
