Your little fingers are just flying over the project when you were adding the gold accent! ;) These are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Interesting... However, I really liked the beads without any paint over them. I liked the one with black & gold, but when I looked at the others, I kept seeing donuts with sprinkles!! I think I'll paint the tissue paper after it's dried, & then put beads on with the gel medium. ...and put the sealer on it when it dries. Thank you for the inspiration!!
Carol, I thought exactly the same thing about donuts and thought to make them look like donuts. Colored tissue paper? But the sprinkles would all be the same color. :D
Gorgeous!!! I have to admit: I was a bit concerned when i saw the beginning of the video but your process made complete sense to me once i watched the whole process. :) Very nice!
I used to make these and I still have one but I kinda lost interest but this video makes me want to pick it back up. I have a bunch of washers I got free from a friend that works in his families nuts and bolts company.
watch it again. Paint is not removed from beads once they are painted. Another color is dabbed onto them so just the very top of the beads has the 'highlighted' color.
Like this! Thank you for sharing 😊

Very nice. But what is gel medium? Is it Mod Podge?
Hi what Gel Medium and paint did you use? Great project btw.
nice!
Thank you. :)
what did you use to remove the paint from the beads after painting them all black or red etc?
watch it again. Paint is not removed from beads once they are painted. Another color is dabbed onto them so just the very top of the beads has the 'highlighted' color.
Nice ! You never know it's a paper-mache washer. I think it looked better without the gloss added on though.
MYT CR8TiV Thanks! The sealer is to protect it but you don't need it. A matte sealer would be any alternate choice too. Thanks for watching.
how do you tie the knot?
WHAT KIND OF PAINT DID YOU USE
It is acrylic paint.
Super cool!!! I have just started playing with alcohol inks. I wonder how they would look on this project? Super cool video. Thanks for sharing.
lindos
why do you skip over quite completely the trickiest part of step one - getting the perfect and perfectly centered hole?
I didn't make the perfectly centred hole. I bought it like that (it is a metal washer from the hardware store). Thank you for watching.
IF YOUR GOING TO PAINT THE WHOLE THING IT DOESENT MATTER WHAT COLOR BEADS I USE....RIGHT?
Any colour beads will work.
they look like doughnuts with sprinkles...that sends a subliminal sugar addict messages...lol
i needed some narrative to understand what products you're using. it also went a little too fast for me.
No more reason to be disappointed when I see those things on the sidewalk & think it's a quarter.

It really is "Wprthless" to leave a comment like that. It probably makes the crafter of the necklace feel a little bad.
