I used the multuliple of 2 plus 1 plus 4 because i wanted only 2 double crochets at each end, but after the first row of puff sticthes there were 3 sticthes left. Should i skip the first stich or do double crochets to all 3 sticthes? Thank you

Its totally up to you! If you only want 2 double crochets at the end then you can definitely skip the first stitch and it really shouldn't be noticeable since it will on the seam. Hope this helps : )
