- 'രഥവേഗങ്ങളുടെ സുവർണ്ണസാക്ഷി' : A five episode documentary on SREE PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE,directed by G.Hari Neelagiri based on the book of the same title written by H.H. Aswathy Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi of Travancore Royal Family.The documentary is produced in1988.
Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple has extra ordinary significance in the socio-cultural and political history of Travancore. Lauded as one among the one hundred and eight great centres of Vaishnava workship in Bharatha Varsha, Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple is a treasure house of art and architecture as well. The influence exerted by this temple over the state and its people as well as on territories far removed from it span centuries. Its glory and importance are multi-dimensional.
The five episode documentary ''Radhavegangalude Suvarna Sakshi'' is a pilgrimage into the history, architecture, art and spirituality of this 'Mahakshethra.' It is as well a journey into the significant history of the land under its sway, covering many of the inter related aspects. The documentary strives to transmit the glory of the ancient abode of divine which outlined the relentless march of time.

സത്യം, എന്റെ അച്ഛന്‍ ശ്രീ പദ്മനാഭ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ south നടയില്‍ ആണ് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്, ദിവസവും രാവിലെ മഹാരാജാവ് ക്ഷേത്ര ദര്‍ശനത്തിനു വരുമ്പോൾ മഹാരാജാവിനെ കാണും. ഒരു നാട് ഭരിച്ച ആളാണ് എന്ന് തോന്നില്ല. അത്രയ്ക്ക് വിനയവും ലാളിത്യവും ഉണ്ട്. 🙏

4 സ്വന്തം കൊച്ചുമൊളുടെ പ്രസവം തന്നെ അറിയിച്ചില്ല എന്ന് കാരണത്താൽ വീണ്ടും ഗർഭം ധരിക്കാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച മഹാനാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം ( പിന്നീട് വേദ വധി പ്രകാരം താമര ഇലകളിൽ കുഞ്ഞിനെ പൊതിഞ്ഞു പ്രതീകാത്മക ഗർഭം dharikkendi വന്നു) അതിനു ശേഷം മാത്രമാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം പേരിടാൻ സന്നദനയത്

അവരുടെ നിലപാടിനെ അവഗണിച്ച് രാജാവ് അത് ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ അത് വലിയ തീരുമാനം തന്നെ ആണ്

What a beautiful city Trivandrum was! In 2018, it has become a crowded city with much lesser character like many other Indian cities. Even the temple is a far cry from what is shown in this video. Such a sad state.

All OK, but to bear the heat from 10 am, the front area of the temple can be provided with carpets for the use of old people, small children, ladies etc particularly visiting from all around globe and India, as the temple the richest in the world. Similarly, the bath rooms with privacy for devotees as the people are charging rs.30 for bath without any facilities. Sad to say.
