The battle against Hercules is a battle of range: you hit him from a distance, use a short combo (square+square+triangle), dodge away and spam arrows while he's attacking. P.S. the blades of Hades have the longest reach so they're the safest to fight with.
One thing to remember: parry only works on light attacks. Heavy attacks like ones with AoE or a swing to the ground is un-parry-able. At least to ground size enemies and bosses like Hercules. No parry works on monster size bosses. At least it rarely works. Also, use Helios’s head more often in the environment. There are chests hidden in gold dust. They are noticeable in corners and walls, just stay still for a moment.

I do not recommend parrying everytime, cuz blocking is more efficent (this is optional) Always try discovering an enemies' moveset and patterns, always recommend, cuz you don't know which one isnt parry-able or even not able to dodge it Always try dodging or block an attack from the enemy while swinging your weapon, always recommend While fighting and hanging on a rope, always try using grab, cuz thats the fastest thing to kill them
3:10 It is because when kratos killed poseidon the god of water or the sea the ocean rose and flooded eveyone because posiedon wasnt there to control it and when kratos killed helios the sun god the clouds blocked the sky and the sun so it was always dark and when kratos kills zeus the god of lighting it started a never ending lightning storm
