I would say just dump ceci for something small or nothing and sign former oiler who is still a UFA Justin Schultz he plays the same roll as Petry a veteran that can help on the second pp and who is a good defender he was great in our second cup when letang was out all playoffs

petry wants to be in detroit, it's where he's from and where his family is. and at this point, he'd be a downgrade to your already shoddy defense. i would not be surprised if he retires after this season. he's not going back to edmonton. this is frankly a stupid idea from someone who doesn't understand anything and just proposed the trade for nostalgia's sake. hey, maybe the wings will give you jack campbell back.
