Long Train Runnin' was released by the Doobies in March of 1973... Over 49 years ago. Nearly half a century. HSCC proves that great music is TIMELESS! Sounds as great today as it did then. Special thanks to the incredible Mr. Lopresto for taking on the iconic Tom Johnston lead - and nailing it to the front door!
Awesome words, I've heard a lot of bands /artists attempt The Doobie Bros (With Tom as lead) never coming even close, until HSCC! You got good taste by the way!
Dear HSCC MEMBERS, I want to congratulate them for that extraordinary talent they have and the great and brilliant idea in INTERPRETING LIKE NO ONE those unforgettable songs that will never go out of style. My name is Jorge Luis Herrera, I am Cuban, I live in a beautiful beach called Guanabo in Havana, CUBA, doctor by profession, I am 58 years old and my youth grew with that music. You know that you have here so far away a Cuban FANATIC 100% of you. Keep it up and wish you all your health, luck and success forever. A BIG HUG. 30/JUNE/2022 ALL THE SONGS I'VE DOWNLOADED
Lead singer is just freaking fantastic. He covers every song with stellar quality with his own unique style yet covers the songs like they're meant to sound.
Smiles from Texas. Everyone smoking’ love the Tenor Sax player’s playing. Got up from his chair, blew the bell off the horn, and went back and sat down. LOL,!
Seems like HSCC has especially nailed all the Doobie Brothers songs they have performed. Still amazed how all the ensembles work as if they have been playing these songs for decades ...and add their arrangements as well...Truly amazing. Per Con's "That;s good' post song comment...For Sure!!!
Growing up in the 60's/70's and 80's I lived this music, it was the soundtrack of my youth, now at 68 and retired I have time to explore HSCC and am very pleased with what I am finding, great memories and many of your covers are better than I remember them in my youth, so thank you for the music as ABBA said
listening to the highly excellent Leonid and Friends, but then after a while thinking, well, it's time to break out from Chicago and Earth, Wind, and Fire - bring it on HSCC!
"Listen to the music", "what a fool believes", "Jesús is just alright" "long train runnig".... and some more performed by HSCC.... congratulations guys. Wonderful DOOBIE BROTHERS !!!!
When Great people play Great songs, this is what you get, Greatness. I have been watching every video HSCC has put on TH-cam, and I really don't think there's a song that Danny can't sing no matter if its rock, RB or whatever generation it's from Fantastic.
Wow, does this ever make me feel nostalgic! Sophomore year at the university, my date -- who later became my husband -- introduced me to The Doobie Brothers. Now, 10 years following his passing, I still love The Doobie Brothers. Happy memories, locked inside my heart...
What else can I say : AWESOME vocals ,harmony spot on ,LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS WHAT IS MENT BY SAYING, MAKE IT YOUR OWN .FANTASTIC JOB, LOVED THE SAX ,BEAUTIFUL!!!! WELL DONE BOYS !!!!!! The Doobie Brothers would be proud !
lounging back on the balcony of my beach side home on negros island philippines listening to another classic expertly performed by an extremely talented HSCC. greetings from an expat kiwi

Such a great song and of course, the Doobie Brothers, what can I say --- the best! Your cover undoubtedly did them proud. Kudos to the vocals and the saxophonist. You guys are my daily dose of positivity ... something we all need in our increasingly tumultuous world. Thank you HSCC!!

So HAPPY to see YOU back, Danny !!! You're always FABULOUS and so exciting to watch, with all the energy and electricity you put out in your performances, and of course - those AMAZING, powerful, and totally flawless vocal chords of yours !!! And must not forget - we're all treated to still another of Jason McMahon's UNBELIEVABLE, 'Out of this World' - sax solos!!! My sincere Best Wishes and thoughts to all of you, Greg
As usual, Daniel delivers another command performance. Does anyone doubt that he is the best cover vocalist on the internet today? The versatility of HSCC continues to impress. Great job everyone.

I saw the Country Rock D Bros perform this live at my College before they recorded it. That was 50 years ago and it still sounds GREAT. The Sax solo is an excellent touch.
Great can be applied to everything this HSCC does on camera. Plz know and understand HSCC that I am grateful for your time, talent and willingness to share, you're truly doing God's work for the people.
The backbone of every band consists of drums+bass+percussion = rythm. The reason HSCC always performs perfectly, is because they have the solid backbone to build the muscle on. Even the best vocalist could fail without it. Great job, once again!
ALWAYS ALOT of sound with these guys!!! 9 musicians this time knock you for a loop! Gotta keep on Movin!!!!! And nothing against the girls, but I LOVE watching the guys ROCK!!!!!!!!
Fabulous! Having seen them in ‘89, I can tell you this was as good as that! Anytime you play a Doobies song I can close my eyes and you are nearly them. You NEVER disappoint. Bravo!
The Doobie Brothers were sharing a dressing room with Bachman-Turner Overdrive at the 1972 Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Randy Bachman was working out the guitar parts for his hit "Let It Ride." Tom Johnston was so hooked on Randy's guitar playing that he took the riffs and massaged them into "Long Train Running." Of course, this has always been a favourite of mine since it came out way back in 1973 when I was in high school. 🎸🎸🎸 HSCC plays this well! 👌
Sou apaixonado por esta música, que maravilha de interpretação e show dos demais músicos, abraços a todos da equipe técnica e produção, gaúcho de Caxias do Sul Brasil!
Man oh man! You always make it look so easy! If you can have that much fun and sound that good, well, that says it all. I’m sure all the years of hard work you all put into your music is now the final product we all can enjoy. Great job guys!
There´s really no reason to keep my old records anymore! Welll done ! Most of all I like to hear your fantastic harmonie voice and your tight rhythm! Greetings from Lübeck
Danny's vocals knock it out of the park!
The bass player is the happiest chap in the world
